The Viper Elite 58-Inch, 2-Piece Billiard Cue is constructed from quality hard Canadian Maple wood. Created in multiple high gloss colors with 9 coats of varnish to prevent warping. Several stainless steel rings along the forearm and sleeve add to the uniqueness and overall design. Featuring lightweight ABS joints which help provide a more consistent surface during play. It's available in 18-21 ounce cue weights, offering a customizable assortment. Each billiard cue is finished off with a 13mm Le Pro leather tip, Irish linin wrap and a traditional rubber bumper. Polish your billiards game with the standout Viper Sterling series pool cue. Beautifully crafted for precision play, the maple cue is distinguished by a vibrant color scheme that stains the forearms and sleeves of this cue to give it a rich, classic look. Was going to get the Viper Diamond Blue cue stick but it was sadly out of stock for a couple months, so I went with this Elite in black. For the price I really can't be too mad about it. The handle portion is solid, nice and heavy, and well made. The shaft however feels like cheap plastic wood and was warped from the start. It almost felt like you could feel the wood splitting immediately after the first break. As I said I can't be too mad though, for $35, it's a good starter to getting into more serious billiards. From what I could tell most half decent quality cues are between $70-$80 so I just ordered a new shaft for about $45. ... show more

This cue is not the top of the line but it is a joy to play with. Smooth shaft and just the right weight for me. Would recommend to anyone wanting a decent stick for not a lot of money

I bought the Viper cue, in less than 2 months, it unwound. It took a month for a replacement. The replacement from gld products was defective/damaged. I have sent pix of both cues, and they refuse to help. The new damaged cue also has 4 stickers stuck directly to the wood, and don't peel off. They also don't answer the phone. Very poor customer service@ ... show more

Cue is decent and looks great for the price. Arrived and cue was straight and not warped. No issues with tip. Used it over the weekend for several hours and played fine. The biggest issue I have is that I ordered a 19oz cue. The sticker on the cue I received said 19oz but when I peeled the sticker off there was a second sticker displaying 21oz underneath. So is it a 19oz, 20oz, or a different weight? It didn't feel like a 19oz so I'm guessing its on the heavier end. I would buy again but I'm afraid of getting the wrong weight disguised by incorrect stickers being placed. ... show more
