Size:3/8” x 50’ The Estwing E3850PVCR 3/8" x 50' PVC / Rubber Hybrid Air Hose with 1/4" Brass Fittings is constructed of hybrid materials, giving you the strength and flexibility of rubber with the light weight of PVC. The larger internal diameter of this pneumatic hose provides more volume of air to support high flow tools such as paint sprayers and automotive tools, or to simply get the most performance out of air powered tools. Pliable in even sub- zero temperatures, the hose lies flat or coils up nicely at the end of the day. All weather flexibility lets you work anywhere from -40 degrees F to 164 degrees F. Bend resistors prevent wear and tear at the joints, and a kink resistant design prolongs the life of the hose. The 1/4" NPT industrial fitting and universal coupler are made of solid brass for better performance and increased durability. Reaching up to 50' long, this hose delivers 300 PSI for maximum working pressure. The rubber coating protects it from wear and tear, and is tough enough that you don't have to worry about damage from snagging, dragging it over abrasive surfaces, or rolling over it. Amazing flexible hose and so tuff, I do roofing and I’m so hard on hoses and this one still looks brand new after a few months of heavy summer use in the heat and in the cold I have had no problems. The hose is extremely flexible and easy to wrap up, you don’t have to fight with it at the end of the day when your just ready to come home. This is my go-to hose now.     • Flexible - Not Easily Tangled

Aside from being a good value because this air hose is ready to use with the appropriate male and female fittings, I found that this hose allowed me to move around my construction worksite with my pneumatic nail gun freely without troublesome tangles. Even when working on the roof I had no hose tangles. My nail gun works best at 100psi, which this hose is easily able to handle, but I tested it to the limit of my compressor at 140psi with no bulging or leaks. Although its 1/4" inside diameter may not be sufficient to meet the demands of some continuous air tools, it works just fine with my nail gun. I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

The write up for this product fails to give the hose size and since most are 3/8" I assumed this was the case. As this is a 1/4" hose, it may not provide air volume needed for certain nail or paint guns but would probably be fine for air brush painting.

    • Fitting's quality control seems questionable

I bought a couple of these for our shop just to see how they would compare with our other hoses, including the very similar Hitachi that also comes with the fittings already on. These lasted a week until our guys were replacing the fitting on the end. The Hitachi ones are still as good as the day we got them. I gave it 3 stars simply because the hose and male fitting are good and the price is low enough to not give it a 1 star. ... show more

The product functionality was as described, no complaints there. But none of that matters if I can't handle it with my hands or have it near me without being overrun with an awful odor.     • Good product - Works well in freezing temperatures

I purchased this due to some reviews on cheaper plastic hoses indicating they can crack or be more difficult to use in cold weather. My shop is in the midwest and in an uninsulated garage where it gets very cold during the winter. So I picked one of these rubber hoses. This one has worked very well for my uses (brad nailer, small paint sprayer) on small projects. It is long, and if you try to move the entirety of the hose, it's fairly heavy. Similar movement issues as a water hose or any kind of hose like this. Kinks or needs some work to unwrap it. Might be a good idea to get a reel for it to make it more manageable. This is a decent hose for the money but it has a few issues. First is the couplers could not be removed when I tried to add a 90 degree elbow. The other issue is it will not roll up well and lay flat. The last is it is very thin which is OK for inflating tires but I wouldn't recommend it if you are using air tools. ... show more

Love this hose compared to the cheap orange plastic one I picked up at the auto parts store that was not very flexible, especially in cold months. Bonus that it comes with the adapters.
