This was super easy to assemble. Doing it myself took me about 90 minutes. All I needed for tools was a rubber mallet and a step stool. It's Definitely sturdier than it looks and I love the gold color. It looks beautiful in my dressing room instead of looking like cheap temporary racking. The media could not be loaded. Great garment rack! Holds lots of clothes. What made this really great is the ability to adjust the shelves and the rods. My mom is 4'11 and has Parkinson's, she can't use a regular closet and needed help hanging clothes up and getting clothes down. This garment rack gives her independence back. No longer does she need to ask for help. The garment rank also comes with an anti tipping device which is crucial when it comes to safety. I bought the gold version. I've had this for about a month. Generally happy with it. It was easy enough to put together alone, though I do enjoy putting together furniture. My only issue is that the additional hanging clothing rod slides around since there isn't a wire shelf holding the hooks in the center of the rack. Not a deal breaker. I still use the rod, but it's annoying when I dig through that group of clothing. Lowering my rating for stability because if that rod is fully loaded and it gets pushed all the way to the front or back, I can see the whole rack tipping over depending on how the load is distributed. ... show more

Once I figured out how to assemble this garment rack I loved it. I have had it up for some months and it holds without fear of toppling over. Very sturdy and looks good in my home. The assembly was very difficult and time consuming, so make sure you have enough patience and time to do this part.
