I love all of my ROC products! I really do. I use many of their products and have always been delighted with how effective they are. But this one was something else! I excitedly opened the bottle, squished some out on my face and started washing. It smelled so bad I rinsed it off using my ROC cleansing pads! Thankfully the smell of the cleanser doesn’t linger after you rinse. I had my husband smell my face to be sure. Thinking Amazon had sent me an expired bottle that had gone rancid or something I returned it and got a new bottle. Unfortunately, it smells the same so this is just how the retinol and good for your skin ingredients smell. Even after all this, I still gave it 4 stars though because the cleanser is amazing and your skin will look and feel incredible after washing. The cleanser is thick and creamy, only takes a dime size to do your whole face and neck and rinses easily. ... show more

I am always hunting for good facial products. I had seen so many RoC products mentioned with high ratings I decided to use this facial cleaner. I have never tried any RoC product before. What a treat! It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth with no harsh or tightening effect at all. I use my serums and creams afterwards and it feels great. Edited 11/2024 - After using this product more, I decided that I’m actually not a huge fan. I need my skin to feel a little more “squeaky clean” than this product leaves it. Additionally, the “retinol” it supposedly contains couldn’t possibly be having any benefit in the 45 seconds it’s on my face, so why even bother? I have switched to another cleanser. Stars were adjusted accordingly since original review. I’ve used countless facial cleansers, and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I have combination skin and I use tretinoin nightly. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling pleasantly clean but not taut and parched. Likewise, it doesn’t leave behind any film, as some “gentle” cleansers seem to. Note that this is the cleanser I leave in my shower, it is NOT the creamy cleanser I use to remove makeup at the end of the day, so I can’t speak to its makeup removing capabilities. Other pluses - it has very little scent and the packaging is shower-friendly and easy to open and close with one hand. There are other cleansers that I might prefer, but those are ridiculously expensive, so I’ll continue buying this! It does what it was meant to do. ... show more

Immediate results. Love the way the serum feels. Skin feels and looks smoother. Even my frown lines had immediate results, yesssss!!! ROC retinal is a good skin line, I have used their deep wrinkle cream on many occasions and it seems like the minute you start using it you do see immediate results the results get better and bette ..
