  • Good to Have Around for Patch Jobs
I got this to compare against a couple other options for seem sealing tent fabrics. Because this works so well with inflatables, it's a perfect candidate. I like how this is just like other vinyl cement I've used in the past with the brush built right into the lid. Having it all self-contained really makes this easy to use with less cleanup than other alternatives. I like this product and recommend it. ... show more

  • Very slow drying
The adhesion with this seems to be good. It just takes a while before it holds so use clips or weights for about 15 minutes. I used it on something where there is no pull on it but I'm not sure how it will hold if it was stressed. I gave it a good tug and it didn't budge. The smell is minimal and viscosity is good to spread easily. ... show more

  • Works under water
I was hoping this product could be applied under water to patch a pool, but I didn't see that in the description. However, on the instructions it does state that it can be applied under water. Nice. I have not used it yet but expect to, as my pool liner is getting old, getting stiff, and has had several tears. I wanted the big bottle because glue needs to be applied liberally to an adequate size patch when the time comes. Quality? I think pvc glue is such a standard product that quality should not vary much by brand, but what do I know for sure? Update. I got another hole in my worn out, brittle liner. Applied this liberally to the back of a piece of scrap vinyl and folded it to carry it down to the bottom of the pool. Pressed it over the hole and smoothed it out and voila, no leak. It worked just as I hoped and expected. There are videos available if you need more instruction. I had to use some weights to help me stay down while applying the patch - but don't overdo that part!!! ... show more

  • Impressive!
I have some repairs and improvements to do on inflatable kayaks, one of which is an expensive model, out of warranty, that has a long seam separation. I've procrastinated, and meanwhile have purchased a variety of repair products, all of which were expensive per ounce. This product is expressly for PVC vinyl. Not all of the kayaks are that; be sure that your repair will be on PVC. I didn't realize how generic and versatile PVC cement is. This cement is said to be waterproof and to "bond underwater." I take that literally, though perhaps it just means that a bond made in dry conditions will continue to be a serviceable bond underwater. A few years ago I purchased a spendy can of tire patch cement, which seems to have gone bad in the can with little use. If I'm understanding correctly, this stuff can do the same job: "reattaching tread onto tires, applying rubber patches," etc. That's a bit confusing because tire tubes are generally butyl rubber, NOT pvc. Anyway, this is a lot of versatile product for $26. ... show more

  • It works as expected, not a price saver to me.
I’d say the positive side is works ok (So far) but time will tell us the best in terms of long term durability. I used this with a float or two where simple patch stuff they send with the floats wouldn't work. I used this as a base for putting the patch on and its holding so far. In short, the float is working ok now but time will tell ... show more

  • Good vinyl glue
Does the job. Easy to use and apply. Cures within a few minutes. I haven’t tried it underwater. It holds, but I don’t know how long it will hold under tension, time will tell. Price is reasonable. No leakage or issues so far. Overall good vinyl glue.

  • works as it should!
Nothing bad and nothing special about this product. It does as is should. Easy to handle out of the bottle, it spreads and dries easily and quickly. Did a small job on one of the kids floaties about a week ago and so far it has held up w/ no air loss. Nice
