My pool is 16' wide, to I shortened it and used the sturdier screws. That eliminated the sag. Seems like good quality, only time will tell. If you’re handy it’s easy to put together, no instructions needed. Good instructions are included though. I used the self tapping screws to connect tubes. Didn’t use the small machine screws. I would use some blue loctite if I did use the machine screws. They might loosen and fall off easily. Comes in two boxes. I received mine in two separate days. Winds up easy and smooth. I did put a concrete block on the non wheeled side with a mat under it to keep it from moving around when winding it up. ... show more

About a year ago, I bought pool cover reel set from Vingli, and I must say, their after sale service highly to impress me. Recently, a strong gust of wind flipped over the reel set, causing one of the wheels to break. This was not a good sign in regard of the manufacturing quality and solidity of the wheel. Understandably, I was disheartened by the damage, but what happened next truly restored my faith in great customer service. After few emails exchange to explain the situation, without any hesitation or discussion, Jose from Vingli immediately offered to replace the broken wheel. He didn't inquire about the circumstances or try to shift blame; instead, they simply took action to make things right. This level of responsiveness and willingness to stand behind their product is commendable. Despite the inconvenience of dealing with a broken part, the replacement process was surprisingly swift. Within no time, I had a brand-new wheel delivered to my doorstep, free of charge. It's rare to encounter such efficiency and dedication to customer satisfaction. This experience reaffirmed my trust in this seller and their commitment to their customers. As indicated in their description, the 18 foot unit was sent in 2 boxes. The company is located in China. The instruction book is horribly written and even though there are pictures with the instructions, the pics could also be better illustrated. Since they sell thousands of these units, all they would need to do is to pay an American a nominal fee to make certain that all of the instructions are written in easy to understand English. The hardware parts they sent were for a different model. Seems like no one checks these things before shipping. Many connecting hardware parts did not fit this unit. It took three times of writing to them before they actually realized what I needed. They sent replacement parts fairly quickly and I just completed the job yesterday. Everything seems to work correctly and the unit works as indicated. I live in Florida so it's very common to get extreme winds and storm conditions throughout the warm months of the year. The unit will not handle a tropical storm or hurricane without tipping over and possibly causing damage to personal property. I will be drilling small holes in my lanai frame and attaching cables to this unit to help it withstand heavy winds. Without doing that I highly suggest using waterproof sandbags or waterproof bags of stones on both sides to stabilize the unit. ... show more

We purchasing this for our indoor pool cover. It's very difficult to roll the cover. It doesn't just stay in place, as you are rolling, it twists, moves around and makes it very difficult. Do not recommend unless bolted to the ground.

Buy it. Wont be disappointed we have 14ft wide inground. And the length is adjustable I believe to 18ft; extremely easy to use. Easy to set up, when reeling just kind of guide the solar cover. I also use a Velcro strap that in place in the middle after reeling it up so the end of cover won’t flap around when you get some wind. ... show more
