Installation – It can be easier if you have an old thermostat, just take a picture of old wires connection, then follow the instruction connect to corresponding terminals. It’s simple if you have a C wire. 2. Quality – The quality of the main unit is very nice with a great display; 3. Performance – I love the functionality of this unit and all the things it’ll do. The app control is why I got it. I can control the temp from the couch to stay seated or from the office if needed. You can program it to make a lot of consistent changes on its own, so you don’t have to. The display is not only beautiful, but very helpful by showing weather. Overall, this is a great thermostat that’ll help you get the most control and enjoyment out of you HVAC system and look great while doing it. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. This thermostat is at least 3-4 degrees off. We love the touch screen and the ability to use our phones to control it but it is off quite a few degrees.

The app said to update firmware. The update failed and the app no longer has access to historical info in the thermostat. Contacted support through every listed option: phone, email, Instagram. Recurved no response whatever. Can't update the firmware and lost functionally in the app. Made app useless. Any the product almost useless. ... show more

Thermostat defaults to cooling at 76°F and when you try to adjust, it goes right back. Temperature reading is different from actual temp in house. When I emailed 24/7, it took 3 days to get back and the response was "Thank you for contacting Vine Customer Support.The minimum distance between the dual modes of the vine thermostat is 5°F and cannot be adjusted to 1°F." ... show more
