Just got back from a long-awaited trip to Dry Tortugas National Park, and SO glad that I purchased this! Most snorkeling trips provide goggles, snorkels and fins to their guests, but I had used those on a previous trip and found them very unsatisfying. With typical snorkel masks, you end up exhaling directly into your mask, which causes the plastic to fog up instantly and leaves you with zero visibility. This full-face mask has an airtight separate compartment so that your breath never interferes with your vision. Similarly, a standard snorkel mouthpiece is essentially a big plastic straw that you hold in your mouth with the force of your jaw. If you dive down, your snorkel tube fills with seawater, which you will almost certainly inhale at least a couple of times. This can be very stressful, especially if you're not a confident swimmer. The full face design of this mask allows you to breathe and even talk normally, and the tube has a floating ball that blocks water from entering the tube while it's submerged. While not foolproof, it is a HUGE improvement over a traditional snorkel. A proper seal on the mask and a degree of comfort with how it works are a huge help in getting the most out of your snorkel gear. If possible, I'd suggest trying it out in a pool before your trip. At the very least, spend a little time in the shallows where you can easily stand up if you need a break or to adjust your fit before venturing deeper. The fins are of excellent quality, and the straps are easily adjustable for a perfect fit. The only thing to note is that they are on the shorter side - this makes them really easy to travel with, but if you're a true beginner, they don't provide as much propulsion as longer fins. However, they're much easier to maneuver in, especially if you're trying not to accidentally kick some delicate coral, so this is a matter of personal preference. Thank You So Much for your quality snorkel gear. I ordered two full face snorkels for me and my daughters recent trip to Hawaii. They worked fantastic especially for me! I have recently dealt with Bells Palsy, so to hold a traditional snorkel was next to impossible. We love these sets! My husband hates snorkeling because the mouthpiece makes him feel claustrophobic. I tried these sets and took him out and he was out in the water for hours! The way the mask sections to the whole face and gives your mouth and nose breathing room is really great to eliminate that claustrophobia feeling and it also gives a really good range visualization in the water. The breathing tube suction locking mechanism works really well for diving and the mask seals well around the face even around facial hair. I was surprised at how well they work but I'm very happy! They're not too heavy so we bring them with us when we go on vacation. It beats having to rent and stick a mouthpiece in your mouth that you know a thousand people have used! It also gives us the opportunity to be able to go snorkel where we want instead of having to go on any kind of a guided tour. So many more options, so much durability and we've already gotten great use out of them. The mask didn’t fit our 12yo daughter and we didn’t realize it until we were already on vacation with few options. She was able to borrow one from her sister and use a separate mask and snorkel. We didn’t take the fins. The bag was super helpful aNd the quality of the items seemed really good. Their dad used this one sometimes and it was a little small but worked. Great fit, liked that i could breath through my nose or my mouth. you can also talk in this mask vs a regular snorkel mask thing, but no one will be able to hear you clearly and will just sound muffled. the mask still fogs up so use antifog

Seals well, used it to snorkel in Bahamas. Seems you have to breath deep breaths to make sure the air is exhausting properly and your getting fresh air. Does work well and helps for people that are scared or never snorkel before. Small short breaths may not get enough fresh air, but we had no problems. The flippers are a great buy, and are shorter than the traditional longer flippers. They are much easier to walk from the beach to the water in. A little bit of water penetrates the mask once you go under, but if you hold it to your face this eliminates most of this issue. My son wasn't happy with this.
