To be upfront, I did not buy this to use for washing dishes. I loved the look and color of it and wanted it so I can put in my kitchen window. So I cannot attest to how well it cleans, its sturdiness, or it's stability. The leaves are a bit flexible, but they are likely to pop off as some reviewers have said they have.
