    • Poor packaging
Don't buy this thing unless you have an IQ over 150, or at least have a good mechanical aptitude. It comes as a box of parts, a bag of bolts, and one lame piece of paper that might be laughingly called "instructions". There is no list of parts, and no assembly instructions. The "instruction" page is a series of small pictures (that show no detail, unless you use a magnifying glass and some good guesswork) Are all the nuts and bolts in varying sizes there? First you have to match the nuts to the bolts, and washers to see if you have them all. Next you have to determine where they go. The "instruction page" (Which doesn't even have the company name on it BTW) will show that you need 8- 8mm bolts and nuts with one picture and 8- 6mm bolts in another etc. When you put this thing together you will need more than a few active brain cells and the patience of JOB because it's accomplished by trial and error. Oh, and one other thing. There are NO lock washers or stop nuts. Big Deal? Sorta, chainsaws create a lot of vibration so say goodbye to some of your hardware unless you use something like "Loctite". One other thing. There is no effective way of leveling this rail on a log. (A MUST). I had to concoct my own method. This thing comes with a bag of six inch aluminum "nails". Where they go and what they are used for is up to YOU to decide. But in all fairness, it DOES work effectively when you finally figure it out. An aside, I have been looking for a distiller and found that this company, VEVOR, makes several, but guess what? I'm not about to spend several hundred dollars on something that might explode if I make a mistake assembling it. ... show more
