Purchased the Vevor refurbished back in Dec 2023, for kitchen sink. Super easy to install right under sink cabinet, zero leaks, and man does this thing get scalding hot. Did I mention the hot water is instant! No waiting around, and no wasting precious water. I mean instantly hot. So, we're pleased with the performance. Hopefully, it will last a few more years. Very easy to install. 1/2 to 1/2 x 20 inch long from red to under the sink 1/2 inlet. For cold to tank use 2-8 to 1/2 x 20 long. All connections shall have silicon sealed. It’s relatively large and will take up the bulk of the cabinet beneath the sink. However, having warm water is well worth it. I have only had it for a few days and it has been working flawlessly. I installed this in a cabinet under the sink in my shuttle bus. Not fun but doable for a novice and no leaks. It heated up quickly and is rated for 20 amps. I used an Echo Flo Delta 2016 wh. solar generator to plug it in. I thought the solar generator plugs were rated at 15 amps. I'm not sure but it worked fine. It is a little larger than I expected. The metal brace didn't look usable, so I used wood blocks to stabilize the base and a clamping strap to secure. It is freezing outside in Tn. and I haven't tried it sense. I think I read one review that stated that there is no drain to remove any residual water from the heater. I pray it is ok. I'll check when the weather is consistently warmer. Meanwhile, I let the sink faucet open and turned off the water supply off till the water stopped at the faucet after installing and checking for leaks and hot water.     • Gets the job done-just enough.
After living for 3 years with a 120 volt, 4 gallon water and three minute showers. This 8 gallon version was a real treat. For many people, even a six to eight minute shower would be not be good enough. Any more capacity would mean adding an electrical 240 volt connection and moving the plumbing around to make room, neither of those options we were willing to do. This VEVOR Electric 8 gallon, 120 volt Mini-Tank boiler Water Heater heats enough water for washing dishes by hand and to bathe, yet not much more. It is not going to produce enough hot water to supply a full loaded dishwasher or a washing machine load. Two minor gripes worth mentioning. 1. I chose this particular model because of a light that came on when water was being heated. The light is too dim to be seen during the day. 2. The manufacturer did not include the plug, so I had to buy it myself in order to plug it in. ... show more

This is being used at the far end of the house where it takes a while for the hot water to arrive. Works great, almost instant hot water, no more wasting water waiting for the hot to arrive. Really nice on those cold mornings. It is about the size of a basketball and pretty hefty. Simple installation, I put mine under the sink and ran it from the hot water wall tap to the faucet. The temperature of the water is easily adjustable, making this unit very energy and water efficient. The heater has rust on the plumbing fittings and had free-flowing water in the tank. The seller, Vevor, is giving me a hard time about replacing the heater. The Company asked for pictures of the fittings, which I sent. Now, the Company wants pictures of the UPC so it can investigate the origins of the heater.
