I purchased this compression tester to check each cylinder on an old truck. The price was reasonable and the attachments were definitely a plus. This tester saved me thousands of dollars in properly diagnosed cylinder issues. I used on the truck, zero turn mower and Dirt Bike. Bike is a must so I will be able to monitor PSI and know when a top end is needed. Great tool, easy to use and money saver. I would buy it again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was not expecting to receive this compression test kit but my wife got it for me. And I was pretty sure that I would be able to use it at first. Later, I realized, that it wouldn't be so easy than I thought. I had to ask to a friend of mine that is a great mechanic, and he helped me in how to use it properly. I learned a lot, and how to check some car when you have to buy a new car and to check the "health" of the engine. For example, I saw that the average of every one of the cylinders of my car, the test throwed a result of 180psi , and he told me that was not bad for my car. (4 cylinders). I'm not a mechanic, and I'm not working daily making compression test, but now, I have the right tool to test some car that I'm going to buy it. I could see the quality of this kit, is really good, also my friend asked me to know the brand and model, because he wanted to buy one of these kits for his workshop. He also said that was a nice kit, and well made. I could see it. I liked a lot the case, is sturdy, to keep all the pieces there. Until now, I have not complains at all! :) ... show more

Edit: I'm downgrading my review from 3 to 2 stars based on my experience with this company. I asked them to replace one of the attachments that had defective threads. They sent the wrong item I contacted them regarding the problem and never heard back. So, I'm guessing their policy is one warranty claim, even if they replace the wrong item. I purchased this gauge to replace a snap-on gauge that was recently stolen from my garage. Upon 1st use, it let me down. The quality of the threads on the 14mm hose extension are poorly machined. I had problems threading the adapter in to The spark plug openings. I contacted the company and they offered to ship a new one. If I don't receive it in the 30 day return window, this set is going back. Only redeeming quality is the quick connector fits my snap-on extensions, which the thieves didn't steal. ... show more

This is a high quality compression tester that comes in an easy to carry case with all the attachments needed to work on any engine. This tester tells me the health of an engine without having to tare the engine down. I think this is a must-have tool when looking to buy anything with an engine on it, and it's a nice tool to have when working on your own engines. This tool will save me money when I am looking to buy something with an engine on it, if I find it has low compression on it, I will not buy it because engine repair can be quite expensive.
