It still isn't covered yet due to trying to figure out how to fabricate one piece to be short enough for an 8ft ceiling. Other than that it is great and came with everything to install it. We've owned this for about a year or so and it was ok, but didn't really remove or vent smoke very well. A month or two ago the motor went out. The motor is supposed to be under warranty for lifetime. We have called Amazon many times and the compa b y was supposed to contact us. We have not been able to speak with them or resolve the matter. Best product I could ask for! Compared to similar units this one is hands down best for the money. The only negative I would offer is the directions are vague at best. Install was pretty basic and I completed myself. Handy but not quite a professional. Powerful suction, beautiful product!

I would probably go with 5 stars execpt for two things: instructions could be a little clearer, although once you start feeling out the parts it's pretty easy to figure out your needs. The suction power is fantastic! That said, you can hear it so if you are looking for almost quiet you might not like it as much. However, the quality of the hood and all the parts is excellent and the suction ensures all your cooking smells and smoke will vent straight up and out! This exhaust fan is a strong fan. Removes any excess heat and fumes from cooking. Lights are LEDs and bright. Fan on high can be a little loud but if you need it to remove fumes or something was burning on the stove this fan is it. You can put filters in it and not use duct. You just have to replace them. I ducted mine out of the house. No filter replacements. Dedicated 15 amp circuit. Receptacle is hidden above behind stainless cover with duct. ... show more

The black stainless steel is so classy, focal point of our kitchen! 900 CFM is way more than we need, BUT we have NO issues with smoke in the kitchen filtering throughout the house when we cook steak or anything else! Product arrived in perfect condition, on time; seller took great care with packing. [ **The ONLY issue is the hardware is cheap. Screw heads broke off screws immediately once tightening down the mounting plate to the hood so our electrician elected not to use any of the other hardware given for mounting the hood to our wall. He automatically went with heavier duty screws for the mounting plate and heavier duty screws along with a couple 2x4's for extra support when mounting the hood to our wall. There is no way this hood will come loose from our wall because it is heavy. ] Other than that, we highly recommend this product from this seller!!! LOVE IT! ... show more

Garbage!!! Worked for less than 1 month. Since service and parts come from Canada, these people don't answer their phones and never reply to any emails. I was told that they will send me parts for repair, well its been ages and nothing has arrived. While it worked, for <1month, it was nice, but getting any parts, I wish you good luck and may the force be with you. And you will need a lot of good luck and force to get anything from them. ... show more
