Have been using the Verso eye serum for a year and loved it, so thought I'd try the face serum - another great product! It feels and looks creamier than the eye serum, you only need a little and I have high hopes for it.

This serum feels more like a cream. It comes in a bottle that I have a love/hate relationship with. It pumps out just the right amount of product and does not let in any air, but you also can’t see how much product is inside or see how much you have left. It is like a little serum vault. I have been using this on my face for about 6 weeks now. Using most nights and some mornings. I have been happy with it and I feel like it has improved my overall complexion. My skin tone feels more even. So I’m on the fence. I live in fear of the day I pump the magic bottle and nothing comes out. But I also don’t know if I would purchase another bottle because it has such a high price tag. There is a whole world of skin products out there to try, so spending north of $100 seems really steep. But that said, I have really liked this serum. So right now it’s a toss up. As mentioned, I can’t tell how much I have left and that may make the difference. If this bottle lasts me another 6 weeks it could be worth it for a 3 month supply. If this bottle only makes it another week or two it won’t be. I’ll try and come back and update the review. ** Update November 19** The same bottle is still going strong. I have continued to use this at night, almost every day. I’d say I’ve used it an average of 5 days a week since the last review. And I have to say my skin looks the best it has in years. The price is still a big pill to swallow, but at this point I am so happy with the results. My skin has way less breakouts and a more even skin tone. And clearly the container has lasted a long time. I have tried a number of retinol products with varied results. I've definitely noticed that the cheaper the product, the worse the absorption and feel of my skin. The first one I tried was one that's very "popular" on Amazon - the LilyAna retinol cream (~$20). That stuff was horrible!! Thick, didn't absorb, and made my face feel gross. Next I tried a handful of creams in the $40-80 price range. My favorite of those was a Drunk Elephant cream. This Verso serum, at $130, is by far the spendiest I've tried. I don't know if it completely lives up to the price tag, but it is pretty darn awesome. It is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, leaving my face feeling super smooth and moisturized. I don't know if I would call it a serum per se - it is more of a cream/lotion. Does it work better than the less expensive options? I don't know if I can quantitatively state its efficacy, but I can certainly say that I like it a lot and I really like the way my skin feels from using this. ... show more

I had no problems with the pump dispenser and I like the packaging overall. At $130 for only an ounce, this is some pricey stuff. The scent is lovely; contrary to some reviewers' comments, there is added fragrance. See the ingredients list, which ends with "parfum." Most of the marketing touts the inclusion of "a high dose of Retinol 8." I can only guess that retinol 8 is something like retin-a, or chemically similar. At these prices, I prefer to purchase the rx form of retinol, from which I get immediate and undeniable benefits. This cream is slower and subtler on my skin. Since I'm a longtime user of retinol, I can't tell whether this Verso Skincare Super Facial Serum might be irritating to virgin skin. You may want to begin using it cautiously if you decide it's worth the price. ... show more

So the bottle this comes in is a terrible design, but the product is great! I have very sensitive, oily skin that normally looks blotchy, and bad undereye bags. If I'm not wearing makeup I always get asked if I'm tired. This cream is really brightening up my skin and making it look healthy and even. I only use a tiny drop of it in the morning, a little goes a long way. My face stays moisturized all day but it doesn't get greasy and I'm not breaking out. I'm just mad I'll have to spend the money now, but I don't want my face to look how it did before. ... show more

This Verso Skincare Super Facial Serum has made my skin look better but I don't know that it works any better than similar products. My skin looks smoother and more clear and even and I like that it doesn't burn or irritate my skin like other retinol products I have used and I have fairly sensitive skin. However, I cannot get past the price of this product, especially given how small the bottle is and how hard it is to get all of the product out of the bottle. This product works well for me but I cannot justify the outrageous cost so I will not be purchasing this again. ... show more

I love the way this makes my skin feel. I'm in my late 30's with combo skin. Some dryness, redness, hormonal breakouts, sun spots. This seems to have made some blemishes heal up and fade faster and it makes my skin soft, not dried out like some retinol products can. Sinks in fast so I can apply my other potions. My pump is working fine, I like that it's in an air tight container. I really like this product though the price is steep. If I really see a lasting difference mayyyybe I'd splurge but it's pretty unlikely. ... show more
