My hair had been burnt due to being given two body waves one after the other as the first one did not "take." The difference was noticeable after the first application. Love this product and will continue to use. The only downside is the product is very thick and difficult to get out. I am leaving the bottle sit upside down in between using it. I ordered the conditioner but the shampoo was sent by mistake—I’m not complaining, since using this shampoo my hair is silky smooth after blow drying. My hair used to be a hot mess after blow drying until I took a curling iron or straightener to smooth it. Can’t wait to get the conditioner too. You cannot get it out of the bottle. I have to take the top off and stick my finger in to pull some out. The bottle is too hard to squeeze. Plan to transfer it into another container. The smell is not pleasant. It does not smell like any flower or oil or fruit scents. I would compare it to glue or paste. I had high hopes for this. I often spend way more than I should in an attempt to get good products, esp. vegan ones. I really wanted this to make my hair shiny. It has not made it dull. I'd say it does leave some shine. However, I can't battle trying to even get it out every time. I would like a product I can easily get out of the container that has a pleasant scent in addition to adding shine. ... show more

I love the formula. It has kept my hair very healthy. Only downfall with smaller bottle is it does not have a pump, and it is hard to squeeze out of the bottle every use.
