  • So much saved!
Style: 1-Navy Blue Panel
First of all, for the price, I didn't know if this VEKEN Bidet was going to work very well? I didn't know what to look for or expect. I've only ever used a bidet when I traveled in Europe and that was over 20 years ago.... I also didn't know if it would be as easy to set up as it described either? I read many reviews for this and other items just like it but I was pleasantly surprised after receiving it! The packaging was great! it came with easy setup instructions AND it works phenomenally! It was easy to set up, took about 15 minutes! I probably could have installed it in an even shorter period of time! it works great - you don't have to plug it in. I'm incredibly happy with it. My two female cousins who lives with me love it as well. I'm going to save tons of money in toilet paper! Thank you! ... show more

  • Works well, should have bought one long before now.

Easy installation, good instructions, quality hardware hose & connector T. Trickiest part was aligning toilet bowl -seat - bidet flat flange to allow seat to close properly and allow the sprayers to have free clearance and not hang or bind on the toilet rim. With the circular slotted discs to allow secure lid tightening, there was only minor adjustment room to allow all to fit. I suppose one could try to cut on slots some to achieve this, but finally managed to get it adjusted like I wanted. Put it in my bathroom first and was satisfied. Wife tried it and think we will order another for her bathroom. ... show more

  • It's not pretty, but it works. Just don't shoot your eye out during installation.
Style: Marble White Panel
With telecommuting being the new normal, and my daily bathing routine having gone down the toilet, I've become susceptible to irritated skin around my exit door. The solution, of course, is to bathe more frequently; but why take the easy road when I can solve my problems with research and buying things online? Enter the bidet. I compared many products, and it seemed the big advantage of this one over other bidets was the brass fittings. Most have plastic connectors, but those are more likely to fail which will result in flooding. The packaging was nothing memorable. I literally don't remember anything about unboxing any of this product. Installation was tricky, but only because I'm a novice plumber. The issue I ran into was that the connection between the water hose and the tank would spray everywhere as soon as I turned the water back on. At first I thought I must have a non-standard toilet, but after several tries I discovered that I wasn't screwing the hose connector on straight and therefore the threads weren't lined up. Once I screwed the hose to the tank correctly, everything went as it should. On to testing! As I've never owned a bidet before, I was very interested in making sure the spray nozzle alignment was just right. (Note: I had no idea what correct alignment would be nor how I would adjust it, but it seemed like something to check.) So I kneeled in front of the toilet keeping an eye on the nozzle, and VERY slowly and carefully turned the spray knob. Spoiler: There's no such thing as slowly turning on a bidet. I quite nearly put my eye out. Luckily I was wearing glasses, so instead of fishing my eyeball out of the toilet bowl, I only needed to explain to my wife why my face, hair, and shirt were drenched in toilet water. After changing my clothes and putting the left lens back into my eyeglass frame, I decided to test again as God intended. So with my bare butt in place, I turned the bidet on. Somehow I neglected to consider that the face-blasting water pressure might be too much on my backside, so my second test ended with a high pressure enema and PTSD. Not recommended. I finally got wise and turned the water shut-off valve to about 90% closed, then retested and made micro adjustments until I was satisfied with the water pressure. The only issue now is that it takes longer for the tank to refill between flushes. It's been months now, and the weather has gotten much colder, so I've learned to use the device sparingly and quickly to avoid unnecessary chilly puckering. The end result is what I wanted: more time between showers without a sore and irritated backside. I have not used the female wash setting which activates the second nozzle, because I don't have the anatomy for it. The control surface that mounts to the top of the bowl is made of plastic and looks like plastic, so if you have a classy bathroom, this will definitely detract from it. But now that I've learned more about bidets, I would not upgrade unless I went all the way with a Japanese style toilet that offers a warm bubbling experience. (Apparently those are popular with the ladies.) I am not prepared to invest in a luxury toilet, so I'll stick with this one for the foreseeable future. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase. UPDATE: Seven months later, I uninstalled the bidet and threw it away. The unit still works as expected, but the extra gaps and raised areas created by the universal fit hardware make it impossible to thoroughly clean all the surfaces around the toilet. So I'm back to a smooth bowl that I can wipe without having to use cotton swabs to get into all the crevices. I'm not removing a star from my review, because I think this is just the nature of add-on bidets and not any particular flaw of this item. ... show more

  • Works as intended

I came across this unit on Amazon and decided to give it a try because of its dual nozzle and self cleaning features. Installation wasn't too hard and only took me about 10-15 min. I made sure to shut off the water supply and apply some Teflon tape to the metal MPT (male port threads) before hooking up the Tee connector. The bidet fits under the toilet seat just fine. Once I turned the water back on and verified that there were no leaks, I gave it a quick test. Be aware, this unit has some range on it. So much so that it sprayed my shoulder when I set it on the second slot for intensity. Overall, I'd recommend this unit for someone looking to add a bidet but doesn't want to spend a ton of money. ... show more

  • Wife bought it, I installed it.
Style: 1-Navy Blue Panel
²My wife insisted on buying the Veken bidet and I installed it for her. I've done lots of plumbing repairs/installations. The instructions are clear, concise, and easy to follow. Once installed the unit is unobtrusive, simple to operate, and works really well. We're happy enough with the bidet we're buying a second one. Please note this unit only runs off of the toilet's water supply line so there isn't any hot water or temperature control which is partly why it is so easy to install. ... show more

Easy to install and fit well in my elongated toilet bowl. No leaks and I never over tighten installing it to the fittings. Hand tight and half turn to full turn on an adjustable wrench enough you fell it is snug. Installed 2 bidet in my house. The other 2 I bought will be given to my in-laws in Philippines and one for our Condo. I order total of 5. Very good product and I do not know how long it will last.
