    • Terrific Pruning Shears

I have another brand of electric pruning shears that are much bigger and heavier than these. I was worried these might not have the cutting strength to get through bigger branches, but 1/2” branches snipped off easily with these pruners. Even slightly bigger branches weren’t a problem. A bonus of this style of pruning shears is that it can get into smaller places. The shears can also be adjusted with clicks of the trigger to open them either to 25 mm or 15 mm, depending on how much room you have to get the blades into. The battery was a little hard to get into the shears, but I eventually got it. The digital display shows the battery power remaining as a percent and the number of times the blades have cut. My battery started out showing 80% and it’s down to 60% with 332 cuts. The grip feels sturdy in both my left and right hands, and the trigger is easy to pull. I’d highly recommend these, especially if you already have DeWalt 20V tools. ... show more

For the sale price of $34.99 this is a steal. I used it non stop and with both batteries it lasted me 6 hrs. About 3 hrs of use with each battery. The charger does take longer than 1 to 2 hrs to charge each battery. As for power this machine cuts through pretty much about everything. The case is pretty flimsy but i cant complain for the price.
