This review is for the Vehomy Squeaky Dog Toy that looks like a lion. My pups somehow always know when a package arrives that has something in it for them. In this case, there was no treat to smell but they still knew and had this package torn out of my hands before I could get the toy out. When I *did* manage to wrest it from them and unwrap the lion, it was joyfully snatched from my hands and run away with. I have two large German Shepherds and there was only one lion so a pretty raucous game of tug-of-war ensued. We have had multiple games of tug-of-war since the original and I am happy to say the lion held up well under all this. This lion is very well made and has yet to fray or get holes in it from teeth. This is definitely a play toy, not a chew toy. A dog of any size would easily chew a hole in this if left to their own devices. For interactive play, whether between 2+ dogs or a human and dogs, it is great! ... show more

The toy is strong and holds up. It's great for tug of war play. My big complaint is that the fuzzy hair comes off in my dogs mouth.

The media could not be loaded. My Corgi Sam instantly fell in love with his new Tug of War Lion from Vehomy! It's very well made, durable and has a handle to hold onto for those Tug of War games! The middle part has an elastic band to give it some stretch when tugging back and forth with your pup. There is also a squeaker below the head section and crinkle paper inside, so it's got all the exciting things my Corgi loves to see in his toys! I highly recommend this toy for your "tugging" pup, you will have a blast playing Tug of War all afternoon and the stuffed Lion head is adorable. Dog approved and 5 stars! ... show more

This is a nice, sturdy toy with a handle on one end, a squeaker inside, and some crinkly stuff. The one squeaker is hard to find, but I have two dogs who immediately destroy toys with squeakers, so I'm fine with that. It's long enough for one dog to be on each end. In this pic, it's me plus two dogs. The lion's hair is one area I need to keep an eye on. One dog tried to pull it out, but I stopped her. This toy is several days old and still on one piece. My 15lb dog loves to play tug-o-war and can tug pretty strongly. This toy with its touch of elasticity really fit the bill. It was very fun to play with and felt very durable for that purpose. He is also a very aggressive chewer and did manage to chew an ear off the first night with it when he had it by himself, but he does that with all dog toys with fabric so I am not taking any stars off for that. ... show more

This is labeled for aggressive chewers but once again this toy, like so many others, doesn’t stand a chance with my 15 lb Dorkie. I gave it to him for the first time last night and within fifteen minutes, most of the outside “fur” has been pulled off. He works so hard at tearing any stuffed toy apart that we can only let him have it for about thirty minutes at a time because his little heart beats so hard and he pants like crazy just trying to tear it apart. Like all toys labeled for aggressive chewers, I expect that another fifteen-thirty minutes of play time will result in a seam being ripped and stuffing yanked out in an attempt to find the squeaker. Thankfully he spits everything out and never tries to swallow any of the materials! For dogs that like to play with toys rather than destroy them, this little toy is as cute as can be! ... show more
