To be honest, after ordering this, I read some of the reviews and was expecting to be returning it. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I have a king size bed and a heavy weight comforter that is a tad small. I bought this to cover it. It gives the bed a finished neat look. The color is perfect and the bedspread is soft. This is not a heavy quilt. It's a spread, so don't expect something heavy. It's substantial enough but doesn't add a lot of weight. It's just perfect for what I need it to do.
