This cable works fine, and seems of good quality. Has nice flexible rubber jacket , the xlr connector, comes a part, and looks like it’s well soldered. The 1/4” plug doesn’t look like it comes apart…

This is a good, basic cable. I use it to run from my mixing board’s main XLR out to my powered speaker’s 1/4 input. It carries the sound well, the connections are sturdy, and I haven’t heard any loss of sound quality. all good things. I am not a huge fan of its rubber coating. It feels a little more “rubbery” than the coating on a typically microphone XLR cable. That is a very subjective thing, and you may feel differently. But with cables, there aren’t many things that distinguishes one from another, so the feel of the cable matters to me. Otherwise, I don’t have any complaints. ... show more

The components of this cable seem to be comparable to others my husband is using. All connections plugged in securely. It doesn't have a stress relief mechanism of any kind where the cable meets the connector. This might affect its longevity. He put the cable through a cable tester, and also tested for intermittent dropouts. It passed all tests. The sound quality is just as good as the other cables he has.
