This ebike gives you a lot for the money. The quality shows in the appearance and the way it rides. The pedal assist is wattage based, so it feels very natural, and doesn’t jar you by trying to race up to a preset speed. They put quality Kenda tires on the bike with a knobby tread pattern that works quietly on road, and grippy off road. It has a Bafang branded fully integrated battery with a good range. The Velowave branded motor is very powerful and quiet. The throttle is not limited to the PAS level, meaning you can accelerate on demand to full power, for getting across an intersection or similar situations. It has braze-ons for a water bottle cage, something that many ebikes omit. I like the bmx style handlebars on the step through version. The grips are lock-on and have a palm rest. The front suspension fork has black anodized stansions and doesn’t flex like some cheaper forks. The hydraulic brakes are Tektro and operate very smoothly without grinding or squeaking. So far Veefa/Velowave support has answered all my questions quickly and have been very helpful. I bought this bike with my own money and would recommend it for anyone who wants a quality fat bike cruiser. ... show more

I cannot believe how great of a bike this is for the price paid. Bought during Prime Days special, so I don't recall the normal price, but I remember it being much cheaper than the high-end priced bikes and couldn't imagine they're worth it. This is such a solid bike. I use it to cross cut corn and bean fields to get to me tree stands to deer hunt. This bike is quiet, fast, and has no trouble getting through the off-road terrain I ask of it. It's just built so darn well! I really enjoy my new bike, its bigger, faster and feels better quality than my old one. Rides well and takes a bit of getting used to. When I got this bike, the charger it came with did not work so I contacted the VEEFA store and they responded promptly within 24hrs of each email sent. This is my first hybrid bike that I purchased to replace an average road bike. Very impressed with assist while pedaling. I have achieved 20 mph on electric power only. I usually ride in 4th gear with level 2 assist. Was able to get 75 miles on first battery charge, Build quality seems very good. As the title states, the bike does not run. As far as I can tell the "WARRANTY" is a total joke. Calls to the company have not been answered or returned nor have texts. Not much else to say except "Buyer Beware". It died 1 week after the date it could be returned to Amazon, so having a TRUE warranty is the only solution. If this is not resolved soon I will be buying another, from a LOCAL bike shop, so I can walk in and talk to someone, and never buy another large consumer item thru Amazon. It's now hard to trust their advertising if it mentions a warranty. Update 9-5-2024 Got a call last night from the company. The rep on the line (was a bad connection) could barely speak English so was hard to understand. Asked us to send pictures of the problem, telling them that the display didn't work was apparently beyond their comprehension. Then hung up without getting our email address to send us their email address. Total waste of time. For a company that says they want happy customers while pushing their warranty this is a failure. Update 9-9-2024 Have given up all hope that this company has even the slightest idea of what a warranty is. All communication is at 2:30AM PST, must be noon in China. They have asked for the order number and vin on the bike 3 times now, we have given it to them all 3 times. Their latest request is for us to get a volt-meter and check the electronics out for them. And send them a video of us doing it. I own a construction company, I have to warranty my end product. If something goes wrong, I don't ask the client to troubleshoot it, I send out a tech, immediately. I am done working with this company, Amazon should remove any mention of a warranty from their ad. Through my own effort, I believe I have found a replacement display from the company they get their electric hub from, it will be here in 7 days, with NO help from this seller. As stated before "Buyer beware". Update 9-20-24 The display I ordered, after searching for it myself arrived and the bike is working again. If you are having the same problem here is where to go to get the part, VELOWAVE LCD Display for Ranger 750W Fat Tire Electric Bike costs $108.00. My son loves the bike, I hate the implied warranty. Would I buy it again from this company or encourage my friends to buy from this company, absolutely not. They said they were going to send out a display and it's still not here. I hope this review helps the next person. Update 10/8/2024 The promised display has finally arrived. We tested it and it works. All of this drama could have been avoided if this company (middle-man?) had just responded appropriately when first contacted. having to wait a month is just not right. As stated previously, my son loves the bike, we have no issue with the product. I have to admit they have honored their warranty, if not prompted by this review. After 100 miles of riding the VEEFA Electric Bike for Adults, I can confidently say that it's a great bike for the price. The quality is very good, though not amazing, but it offers excellent value for the investment. The bike's performance is impressive. The 750W/Peak 1000W motor provides plenty of power, and the 48V 13AH removable battery ensures a decent range, making it perfect for both commuting and leisurely rides. The bike handles well and feels sturdy on various terrains. The seat is okay but could be more comfortable for longer rides. The biggest area for improvement is the lack of a rear shock. Adding a rear shock would greatly enhance the comfort and ride quality, especially on rougher paths and trails.
