First, I am thoroughly impressed with the person that Tetris’ed these pieces into the box. There was not a single centimeter of wasted space. That said, I couldn’t believe the number of pieces to put together! You could tell the quality isn’t great (you get what you pay for) but I love to assemble things, so I spent a couple of hours following the instructions to assemble. I think the end result is cute! Let’s get the down side out of the way up front, these are small. Be sure to check the measurements before you buy. In our specific case, the height is perfect, but I wish they were a bit wider and deeper. I really like these and think they’re a great value. They are pretty light weight, and easy to assemble. Wow. I really loved the reviews and was looking for affordable but functional nightstands. I am an Amazon queen, and I’m happy 98% of the time. I was impressed with the picture directions, and decided I would build both at the same time. I put every thing in order on the first one, and went to do the same thing with the 2nd one. What? No hardware, and I was frustrated but decided I email them after I put this bad boy together. 2 hours later, I was frustrated because the drawers had gaps between them an inch each. And yes, I followed each step carefully, I emailed that night, and as there was no response, I sent another request for hardware, and customer support. No response. I called, no response. I tried to return them, but the UPS guy said they were too heavy, really. You brought them, didn’t you? I can’t lift them either! This has been a nightmare. ... show more

I consider myself to be fairly proficient when it comes to assembling furniture but this was at the top of my list for frustration. The directions were not always easy to understand which led to mistakes that proved difficult to correct. This should not be categorized as “some assembly required”, but rather, “all assembly required”. Not a single thing was pre-assembled. I think the appearance overall is good and the quality seems in-line with the cost. I wouldn’t say these are amazing, but nor are they terrible. I needed something small to fit in between the bed and wall space in my children’s rooms. These were perfect! They’re not too wide and also are shorter than most so they’re perfect for lower platform beds. These tables are cute but too tiny. Couldn't be used next to bed side cause they are so small. We already threw away the box so we kept them and used them next to desk to put extra laptops on. But next time use measuring tape to fully understand scale of tables. Would not buy again
