This is slightly more advanced than a basic code scanner. It can also display/chart live data, record data, print data, and lookup possibly helpful descriptions of DTC codes. For the price it’s a very capable and nice looking diagnostic tool. I’ll be leaving it in my truck just in case it helps me or someone else. I do have a more advanced cable and software for programming my truck, which is unit is not capable of, but it requires a laptop to operate. ... show more
