  • Genuinely Love It
Size: 28lbs Capacity
THE GREAT: This little washer kicks ass! I was really shocked at how much it can handle. I got the version that can take on 18lbs of laundry with a 10lb capacity spinner, and several weeks' worth of laundry was cleaned and ready to use in a blink. The small hose for filling it is quite small, and though it worked beautifully, I prefer to use my showerhead to fill the tub faster. The 15-min max cycle agitates everything fine and is gentle enough to make me feel confident even for handwash-type items. The drain hose is quite short, but with a little creativity I was able to wiggle it in a way that it drains easily enough down a good drain (tested on the toilet, tub and sink. I prefer hooking it by the toilet as it'll drain on its own.) It's a lot more involved than your run-of-the-mill washer and dryer, but especially since I've been looking for more ways to be more active, I found it really fun. There is a bit of a learning curve, and the instruction manual isn't the clearest, but what I usually like to do is to fill the tub with the temperature of the water I want to the level needed for clothing, soak the clothing for a moment without over-crowding the already large tub, let it spin for the max 15 minutes. Then I let it drain, refill the tub with less water to rinse out the clothing, let it spin for about 5 minutes, and drain again. Finally, I'll move half the load into the spinner, let it go for up to 5 minutes (depending on how much it needs to drain), and let it finish. I've run over 10 wash/spin loads so far, many of them back-to-back, and all of them have been perfect in how clean they are. At this point in time, I have a clothesline, so I take out the spun clothing and let them dry outside. Probably will get a mini-dryer as things get colder, but for the time being, it really is a lot of fun, and is a good way to fill the time. Maybe I'm just weird for enjoying chores though. It is a bit expensive but extremely worth it. Eventually, it'll pay itself off compared to the several trips it takes to get to the laundromat nearby, and the hassle of getting coins every single time. THE BAD: There **ARE** some negative qualities to it, but they were minimal in comparison to my positive experience. If the spin dryer does not have a heavy amount of clothing on it, it will spin in a way that bumps against the inside frequently until it finds equilibrium. It can be a bit noisy at this point. There was a lot of trial and error to figure out exactly where and how I wanted to set up the machine. It may benefit from getting some form of a cart/wheels under it to make it easier to move around if there is not a set area for it to be, like at my home. The instruction manual isn't written in very clear English, but it really is as simple as plugging it in, hooking it to a water source, and getting the drain somewhere it won't fall off. One other negative thing is that the plug is not very long at all, be prepared to be somewhere with both a drain and an outlet within 3ft away at max. The machine also arrived covered in thin sheets of plastic that covered every inch, even under decorative elements and inside the machine in ways I'm still struggling to pry out of the cracks and crevices. I'm not sure why it would come in such a way, assembled so that you have to practically take apart some elements to get the plastic out. It does make a small mess with the water, so don't expect to be running it on the carpet. MISC: The washer came with a card that included a private email address to the vendor, who encourages you to contact them if there is ANYTHING wrong with the washer. While mine came without any real problems, it was extremely comforting to see how much they care about a large item being shipped over such a long distance. And if anything goes wrong with the product that's clearly an error of manufacturing or damage from shipment, that they'd be there to help. I love this little machine for saving my bacon, and the hassle of dragging my dirty underwear to a laundromat. Thank you to the makers for such a considerate item!!!! ... show more

  • It gets better all the time.
Size: 20lbs Capacity
I like the fact that it is compact, easy to operate, better construction, less noise, etc. It washes, drains quietly, performs efficiently, etc. This is my second washer in 3 years. Good product.

  • Decent product, worth the money, a few flaws and things to know.
Size: 14lbs Capacity
There’s a few things about this that should be known. First of all-I received it and the clasp that held the hose to the sink arrived broken. This was my initial problem with this product, right out of the box. I initially held the hose on to the sink, however I have bad plumbing in my apartment and the pipes started leaking. I found a simple solution, using buckets of warm water to fill the tub. If your clothes are very dirty or stink, I recommend multiple rounds of water. I do not recommend using tons of soap, just enough. Remember this is not a normal washing machine, you will use too much soap and your clothes will make you itch. That being said, if you do use too much, just keep cycling water through. The drain function does not drain all the way, unless the hose is going directly down. Once it looks like all of the water is out, I hold the machine above my tub and switch it to drain to get out the rest. The spin dryer does not work that great: first of all, you should be weary that if you pack it too high, socks will fall underneath it. I scraped my wrist trying to fish out 4 moldy socks tonight when I realized this. From now on I will pack a T-shirt over a load of socks. A load that fits in the tub will not fit in the dryer, you will have to do multiple dryer loads. You will be tempted to do the dryer over and over again, this will result in melted plastic. I do 5 minutes, sometimes 10 for a hoodie, and I hang dry everything after that. There are also times when the dryer randomly stops working, I don’t know if it’s because it’s off balance or what the deal is. This results in being very frustrated with soaking wet expensive hoodie and messing around trying to get it to work again. The tub and dryer will need to be cleaned with a dry rag or something occasionally to remove debris. You can’t wash bedding in this. The heaviest thing I could wash was my painter whites, which resulted in the machine getting clogged with paint and caulk, and several cycles of water and draining to remove all of it. Last, the cord to plug it in is extremely sensitive, at least in my model, and must be plugged in all the way. Sometimes it stops working and I have to unplug it and plug it back in and hold the plug for a few seconds. Overall a great product despite the quirks. I’d rather waste time messing with this thing on laundry day and be able to stay home, clean, and cook between loads then have to spend 4 hours at my parents or go to the disgusting laundry mat across town. I can’t stand leaving my house to do laundry, especially in the winter. Overall, I think that using this product will make your clothes last a lot longer then having a normal washer/dryer. It almost feels old fashioned despite being a very new product, you must take pride in doing laundry and having clean clothes for this to be worth it. If you run a few loads every week and stay on top of your laundry game, you shouldn’t have an issue or spend hours doing laundry every week. Socks, underwear, work clothes, clothes to go out in, pajamas, etc. expensive clothes and hoodies get washed in there own load, I only use a tiny hint of bleach and only a little soap. ... show more

  • Marginally impressed with this little thing
Size: 14lbs Capacity
I gotta admit this thing works a lot better than I thought it would. I live full time RV and have a small camper with not nearly enough room for a full size unit. So I wanted the largest small one I could find with separate spin basket that I could just set in the tub when using and then store it away easily. So this fit the bill. But what I wasn’t expecting is to be impressed with it! It’s small so your not gonna get a lot in it and it’s a very manual process to wash then rinse then spin then hang to dry but it’s PERFECT for just me and my little bit of laundry. I don’t have to deal with RV park laundry coin machines or laundry mats any more unless I’m doing blankets or something. The spin dry is super high rpm and actually gets the clothes almost completely dry. An hour out in the sun after or I just hang them in shower stall and they are good to go nice and dry. The agitator at the bottom spins very fast it’s not a delicate wash I wouldn’t put any loose or sensitive fabrics in it but it definitely washes what ever you put in there and does a fantastic job for as small and cheap as it is. Don’t use too much detergent you’ll just have to rinse it multiple times and as others have said the spin basket is kind of an art to know how much to put in for best results. One thing I do like it has an auto break if you open the lid on spin side it stops immediately so if it’s out of balance you just lift the lid and it will stop dead before it damages itself. I’m very impressed with this little thing and glad I bought it. ... show more
