I really like this Bookshelf! I've been debating on purchasing it for awhile, (especially after reading some of the reviews), and am glad I did. The assembly was easy and quick, and the directions were easy to follow despite being pictures only. The only issue I've noticed is that it's a tad wobbly, so I placed a small sticky felt furniture pad on the bottom of one leg. Besides that, it's fairly sturdy. I specifically wanted something with these dimensions, and the size is nice. It's also quite pretty, although that doesn't really show well in my photos. My husband assembled this and only had one mix-up, with the hinged doors at the bottom the instructions were a little unclear. But he figured it out pretty quickly and realized the doors have a magnetic closure down there. -which is nice! He just wasn’t expecting it. We use it for his record player, speakers, and vinyl records. It’s chipboard of course, but it looks nice and trendy, and it works great for us in our apartment! ... show more

I ordered this a month ago and finally found the time to put it together. The color is darker than on Amazon, but it is exactly the color I had hoped for. Assembly was not difficult, although it was missing a few screws. Easily remedied, we had some on hand. I did not run into any problems with the doors not fitting as others experienced. No nicks or damaged areas. I bought this to store cookbooks behind the closed doors, my house is lacking for storage. And to hide TV wires or at least draw attention away from what shows. I believe this is supposed to be rustic industrial but you can easily convert it to cottage, French country, modern, industrial, and even Victorian depending on what you put on your shelves. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and has great utility. The stand is sturdy but if you have small children you could use a wall strap. I’m really liking this Bookcase, although for me, I’m using this more as a piece of accent furniture. It is very well designed and good workmanship. ... show more

I always worry about ordering anything wood and it looking cheap in person. This bookshelf really looks nice and was easy to assemble. The only caveat is that if there is too much weight on the middle shelf the bottom doors don’t pop out right, so make sure to distribute weight right and you’ll be good! ... show more

The instructions for assembly were very good. Once put together, it seems fairly sturdy for manufactured wood. What killed me was the 20 minutes I spent removing the poorly placed tipping caution sticker (inside of top shelf). I had to use Goof Off which I was worried about because of the materials but it did not stain. Still took a lot of scrubbing even with the goof off. ... show more
