This is my first E-bike so I wanted to buy it to determine if I even would enjoy riding an e-bike. I bought this e-bike for three main PROS. First, Price: you can regularly buy this e-bike from $400 to $500 (which includes shipping) which is about the cheapest e-bike you will find. Second: This e-bike has many accessories that make it more enjoyable to ride which include fenders, bike rack, lights, bike computer, shimano shifter, 48v battery, 500w motor and kick stand. Third: It is a step thru design (a must if you are shorter - I am 5’5”) and is not a fat tire e-bike. I specifically did not want a fat tire e-bike due to their increased size and weight and generally higher prices. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Weight: When it is delivered unless you have a dolly you may need help in moving the box. All E-bikes are heavier than standard bikes. Assembly: Instructions are weak but I just used the video and paused it to assemble, but if you are uncomfortable using tools or are not mechanically inclined assembly may be a challenge. It would really help if someone assisted you in assembling due to weight and the use of “two minds”. Assembly took me about 55 minutes to complete (about half the time spent on the seat). Battery Size: I was initially a little concerned about the battery size but that has not been an issue. I have not run out of power anytime I have ridden. So unless you know that you will regularly be riding a specific route that exceeds the battery capacity, I would not worry about it. The e-bike was packaged extremely well and with no damage. I have now ridden it a number of times and everything worked perfectly and I have enjoyed riding the e-bike. I really want to like this bike and leave a great review, but after a week and a half after assembling it, my wife is yet to take a first ride on it. The bike was sent with the incorrect rack and in incorrect rear fender support. The rear rack is no big deal and can just be left off for the time being, but the rear fender support is too short and causes the fender to rub against the rear tire. But unlike the rack, the fender cannot be easily removed without removing the rear wheel. Customer service was contacted the first day, and although they recognized the rack was incorrect for the bike I had, it took several rounds of emails to get them to recognize that the rear fender support was also incorrect. It doesn't help that customer support will only send out one reply a day, even if you reply to their email within a minute of receiving a reply from them. So a week and a half later, customer service has finally stated that I will be sent a new fender support in addition to a new rack. Upon asking when the parts will arrive, I was told that because they have to double check the parts to ensure I was getting the correct ones, that it would take longer but they would let me know once the parts are shipped. It's getting a little frustrating for me. This was supposed to be a well-intended birthday present for my wife, but now is a source of embarrassment for me. As great as the pricing of this bike may have been, I'm wondering if better quality could have been achieved by a slightly higher priced ebike. The remaining elements of the bike seem to be well constructed, but it hasn't moved from my living room, so there is no way of knowing for sure. As things get resolved and I'm actually able to try the bike out, I will update this review and rating, but for now, I can only comment on the quality of the assembly at the factory and my experience with customer service. I will say that customer service has ALWAYS responded to my emails, albeit one per day, and are always pleasant...just slow to resolve the issue. UPDATE as promised...all parts came in and were installed to fix everything that wasn't correct. Bike works perfectly and my wife is enjoying bike riding for the first time in years immensely. Very happy with the bike - seems to have lots of range - after her 20 mile test run, the bike says its still registering a full charge although she uses it on the low-mid amount of assist setting. All in all, a solid ebike and a great purchase. I would highly recommend especially if Varun improves their packing quality process. The smile on my wife's face says it all, I think! ... show more

Easy to assemble if you have some experience with bicycles. A comfortable ride and decent battery life. Our bike had the wrong rack included and the company sent the correct one. The instructions could be better. The disc brakes work well and the electric assist is pretty smooth when it kicks in.

This is my first E-bike and After looking at many e-bikes at a much higher price point, I decided to go with this commuter. I’m 59 years old and the step through design was an important feature for me. It only took me about 45 minutes from unboxing to fully assembled and ready to ride. I have ridden it quite a lot since receiving it and have been impressed with the many features, the battery life and overall quality. As mentioned I’m 59 years old so no trick riding, and no pro-level off-roading for me. I’m very pleased with this e-bike. I had to make a couple of minor adjustments to the brakes, after my first test ride but that’s it I did add a rear view mirror on the handlebars and a cell phone holder. ... show more

Bike is ok, it's decent material and handles fine for the most part but dealing with their customer support is the worst. Wouldn't recommend for the price since even then it's not worth it in my opinion.
