This is my first E-bike so I wanted to buy it to determine if I even would enjoy riding an e-bike. I bought this e-bike for three main PROS. First, Price: you can regularly buy this e-bike from $400 to $500 (which includes shipping) which is about the cheapest e-bike you will find. Second: This e-bike has many accessories that make it more enjoyable to ride which include fenders, bike rack, lights, bike computer, shimano shifter, 48v battery, 500w motor and kick stand. Third: It is a step thru design (a must if you are shorter - I am 5’5”) and is not a fat tire e-bike. I specifically did not want a fat tire e-bike due to their increased size and weight and generally higher prices. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT: Weight: When it is delivered unless you have a dolly you may need help in moving the box. All E-bikes are heavier than standard bikes. Assembly: Instructions are weak but I just used the video and paused it to assemble, but if you are uncomfortable using tools or are not mechanically inclined assembly may be a challenge. It would really help if someone assisted you in assembling due to weight and the use of “two minds”. Assembly took me about 55 minutes to complete (about half the time spent on the seat). Battery Size: I was initially a little concerned about the battery size but that has not been an issue. I have not run out of power anytime I have ridden. So unless you know that you will regularly be riding a specific route that exceeds the battery capacity, I would not worry about it. The e-bike was packaged extremely well and with no damage. I have now ridden it a number of times and everything worked perfectly and I have enjoyed riding the e-bike. I am very pleased I made the purchase and would recommend this e-bike to others. ... show more

I was surprised to see the quality build on this bike. For under $300 US, you get a well built bike with a few extras thrown in. Set up is not as easy as they claim, as instruction video leaves l out key steps. You will eventually figure it out. Go to YouTube and watch all the videos. Motor puts out enough speed for me (20 mph) and dual breaks work well. I get a smooth ride with little vibration. All in all I am pleased and got value for my money. Shipping is a bit too much but total price of the bike comes to around $450 plus tax, not bad ... show more

I’ve had my ebike for 2 months and I still love it. It’s my main way I get around since I retired and is very dependable and comfortable. I was able to finish putting it together w/o trouble, strong battery. For best safety make sure you can straddle the seat while touching the ground.

Let me say I am a retired mechanical engineer and went through this bike with a fine tooth comb and it was perfect, outstanding build quality. It was super easy to put together by myself, but I also read everything I could find before it arrived, didn’t even open book for a week after I put together. I am retired on disability and quit driving due to balance issues years ago, got this so I could go places without having to get rides all the time. I feel it has great balance even with all the accessories I installed, it performs better than I expected and I had high hopes. Granted I am not out off-roading or trying to run a race, I normally ride about 10mph in power level one in 5th gear and actually switch to zero when I am just cruising, today I left with full charge, rode for 21 miles and when I got home all battery lights were lit. I am not able to see how far it will go I don’t have the stamina to do that, and I charge up when it gets to two bars. I am actually looking at getting a VARUN MTB to play on, with my Commuter as my daily driver. I would definitely recommend this bike to others for similar use, and the VARUN product line if you want more. ... show more

Buyer beware there is no way to contact the seller. Their phone number has been disconnected that is listed. I purchased a bike put it together and now that it’s charging it won’t take a full charge and it does not work. Don’t return the bike because you have to provide your own shipping, I would just like it to work, but I have nobody to contact. ... show more

For the very low price, this bike doesn’t fail to deliver. The battery life is excellent, providing about 20-25 miles on a full charge (mostly using throttle), lasting plenty of time. I use this bike on several terrains: grass, street, dirt trails, and it provides a smooth ride with great performance. This bike provides great power with a one second throttle-delay (which I’ve gotten used to). In conclusion, this bike is great for day-to-day use and commuting throughout my city! ... show more
