Easy to assemble and adjust for 5'2" rider who found the bike to be comfortable. Fit, finish and overall quality is very good. I had one question that Varun Customer Service answered and they even included an instructional video. Therefore; I have given this review five stars.

Upon unboxing and first steps of assembly, the bike seems to be made solidly of quality components. I will update review with photos when I have finished assembly and the local New England weather allows me to test ride it. Update after completing assembly and first rides: Initial impressions are holding up, bike still seems of good quality. Assembly was straightforward but I highly recommend watching the video in the product description (the one with the thumbnail that says "The Third Paper"). This video shows the assembly steps in a much clearer fashion than the printed manual. After assembly the typical adjustments are required, such as front brake alignment and rear derailleur stops. These are straightforward and I recommend watching a guide on Youtube if you aren't familiar with the process. The motor is powerful enough that you can get up to speed without pedaling at all, which is nice to have as an option. Despite being rated at 350W I was surprised to see that it managed to climb my steep driveway without pedal assist, which is something my 450W electric scooter is not able to do. The battery pack is removable, with a charge level indicator and a key to enable/disable. Removing the key also causes a locking stud to extend from the battery pack, fixing the battery to the bike frame and preventing it from being removed/stolen. Overall I'm happy so far with the purchase and looking forward to nicer springtime weather so I can test the range of the bike. ... show more

I am really enjoying my bike. I ride a 3 to 4 mile route through a neighborhood across the road from my house every afternoon when traffic dies down. This route includes hills with long grades up to at least 25 degrees. I have tried this on my Schwinn Mtn bike and couldn't make it. I am 65 years old and have no problem on the Varun E-bike. If you loved riding bikes when you were younger, this bike will return that to you with the amazing pedal assist mode. If you're winded, just twist the throttle and let the motor take over. It couldn't be any easier. I highly recommend this bike for seniors. It has just the right power and will restore your love of biking. By the way, you'll be getting a great cardio and physical workout too. It has a great price point also. To me it's a win, win. Jim ... show more

Really like this bike. Very fast btw. Great bike for the price especially. I had issues with putting the seat on - doesn’t match the instructions. But I’ll give these people in the PROC credit. THIS 500W VARUN E-BIKE WAS PRETTY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. THEY MAKE IT EASY WITH THE VIDEO THEY HAVE. I'M A 61 YEAR YOUNG FEMALE AND I'M 5FT 5 INCHES AND THIS BIKE FITS ME PERFECTLY. YOU CAN ADJUST THE SEAT SO THAT IS JUST RIGHT FOR YOU. I LOVE THE BACK RACK IT COMES WITH AS I'M ABLE TO PUT A BASKET ON IT SO THAT I CAN PUT MY GROCERIES IN IT. THE GEARS WORK REALLY WELL AND YOU'VE GOTTA LOVE THE DISK BRAKES. ONE OF THE FEATURES THAT I LOVE SO MUCH IS THE FRONT SUSPENSION. NO MORE HURTING WHEN I HIT A BUMP.
