I have had this bike for 5 days now. Here are my early impressions: Nice looking bike. Build quality seems good. Bike rides smooth and quiet. Brakes work good. Electric assist works good. Battery is only good for a few rides in level 5 max assist mode. Battery charges in about 4 hrs. Assembly is not difficult but may take over an hour. Setting up this bike was a bit challenging due to minimal assembly instructions. However, if you're familiar with bike mechanics and electric motors, you should be able to put it together without too much trouble. The bike itself is great fun. Got this bicycle for me (Man) and one from LikeBike for my wife. We have had them for about 2 weeks and i have ridden this one about 7 times on 30 minute rides each. This one, The Varun, was easy to assemble- as was the other one. The online videos were a big help in assembly. The bell is cheap on this bike and I have already replaced the seat since it was so hard and narrow. The controls are a bit difficult to understand and I am still learning how to operate them. I have watched several videos on electric bike operation and still these seem odd. For example my wife's bike, the LikeBike, has a separate switch for the lights and both front and back turn on and off with that switch. The Varun has a procedure on the control panel which I have not figured out yet. The battery seems to be holding really well as I have only charged it one time in and it is still over 3/4 % full. The ride is very good (Great), now that I have a better seat!. I am having trouble getting the handle bars tight and they keep slipping down when I happen to push down with force. Overall I am very happy but gave 4 stars because of the bell, and the seat and light controls.. ... show more

I am reducing stars due to seeing that my original free shipping was changed to a $170 shipping fee! Absolutely unacceptable. Not only can I not return this, but they charged twice as much as the listing price without my knowledge or approval. The quality looks nice, very solid. It took me about 4 hours to assemble and the instructions weren't very clear. It did come with tools however, which is helpful for those without the necessary tools. The parts that were pre-assembled, such as the brakes/rotors are too tight and the bolts are too tight to adjust them. Other pre-assembled parts were too loose. I'd have to take it to a bike shop to have it all readjusted but I look forward to trying it out. It's also a lot bigger and heavier than I expected. I'm 5'3" and toes barely touch the ground at its lowest height. It's a VERY heavy bike which I wish I'd known. I'm not sure how to transport it yet. I'd have considered something smaller, more transportable for a car rack, and lighter. I can't even lift this onto a car rack. Without clear instructions, assembly is difficult. I'll update this after trying it out though. Update: It is a really cool bike. I can't even lift it though and can't transport it to a shop for adjustments. The seller agreed to a return except you are responsible for return shipping...costing more than the bike itself. A smaller build is more practical for me but for those who are taller and can handle the weight, it could work well.. Now I have to figure out how to resell the thing. I can't even ride or transport it. Anyone wanna buy a $500 bike? ... show more

I got this e-bike for my son to ride to work and back. He loves it, and was really easy to assemble. I like that you can take the battery off to charge it. It goes pretty fast, especially because he lives in the city. I highly recommend this e-bike to anyone to ride around town on, well worth the money. ... show more

For the cost, this bike is great. The electricity turns on bit strong initially and can feel scary at low speeds, but very smooth once you’re riding a decent speed. The bike seat isn’t the most comfortable if you’re sensitive, but a very easy fix with another purchase off of Amazon. Battery definitely gave me about 20 miles at the highest setting with extra distance to spare. Top speed capped at 19mph. Will update when I attach my bike trailer and take my service dog along. 🐕🦺 ... show more

The bike is fantastic it's awesome I bought it to ride it 8 miles to work haven't rode it to work yet that starts tomorrow got to see how long the battery lasts when I first got it the battery was full and with an hour it was dead I fully charged the battery I'm going to see how long it lasts on a single charge and I will keep an update but other than that it was easy to put together and it is fantastic I'm loving it only disappointment is in gear 5 at 19 mph I only got 17 mi out of a full battery charge and my right pedal didn't fit so I had to use a pedal for my Old mountain bike so I have two mismatch pedals I wish it got more than 17 miles per full battery charge I mean that is an hour 15 minutes hour and a half worth of riding but still wish it went more miles other than that I'm having a great time ... show more
