    • Confusing instructions
This information came from the data sheet. I am confused as to whether or not sanding should be performed if it is less than 24 hours between coats. I tried to sand less than 24 hours between coats and it did not work well at all. There was peeling of the urethane and I had to scrape it off and start over again. I am not sure if abrasion of the last layer is necessary to adhere the next layer. It's not like with the Internet that paper would be wasted by writing more detailed instructions. Brush Application – Stir thoroughly before and during use. To prevent bubbles, DO NOT SHAKE. Apply using a good quality, synthetic bristle brush, foam brush, or applicator. Allow the finish to dry a minimum of 2 hours and then re-coat. Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity may cause slower dry times. Re-coat only when previous coats have dried clear and feel hard (no longer tacky to touch). A powder should develop when lightly sanded. If any coat has dried more than 24 hours, lightly sand before re-coating to avoid brush marks. A minimum of 3 coats are recommended. If grain raise occurs, sand smooth before final coat. Allow finish to dry 24 hours before light use. Wait 3 days before subjecting surface to normal usage. Clean application tools and equipment with soap and water. Dispose of properly ... show more

    • Learning curve to application, but great quality sealer
I couldnt find this sealer at any of the home improvement stores locally, so I ordered on Amazon. I did a ton of research on sealers to use on painted furniture, and this one was recommended over and over again. I've never applied a sealer, and there was a learning curve. The directions say to use a brush or applicator. An applicator was recommended by several people, so I tried that first. It was messy and it was hard getting even coverage. I switched to a brush and found that to be much easier. I still had to be careful on the edges of the pieces I was sealing, making sure it didnt clump. I like that it goes on white-ish so you can see where it's going. It dried pretty quickly, making putting on subsequent coats easier. Overall, I am happy with the results. The furniture has stood up to some abuse by my kids, and you would never know it. ... show more

This finish is gorgeous. Not too shiny not too dull. Has no yellowness and keeps the paint as its original color even after 3 coatings. Very easy to apply with both paint and sponge. It's also easy to clean even just with water. And also the scent of this isn't even too bad. I easily get sick with chemical smells but I was fine even without a mask. ... show more
