Description

"Mission: To inspire and support active lifestyles with innovative, ultimately portable, products. Live Flexible. California-based Vapur started in 2009 as a big idea with a simple solution. With unwelcome waste creeping into the social conscious and light shed on the ugly aftereffects of plastic, three avid outdoorsmen set out to find an answer. This team, led by a commitment to design, innovation and eco-responsibility, was on a mission to make hydration incomparably portable and disposable bottles obsolete. The Anti-Bottle is a reusable water bottle designed to stand when full and can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty, making it easy to use and carry on any adventure. Unlike bulky, rigid bottles, the portable Anti-Bottle can be easily tucked away, conveniently fitting into pockets, purses and packs. About 87% lighter than typical rigid bottles, the slim, flexible Anti-Bottle only packs water weight. It also uses less energy to make and transport than rigid bottles, so not only is the Anti-Bottle light on your load, its environmental impact is also pretty “lite.” Now as the leading designer, marketer and distributor of reusable, handheld, collapsible hydration products, Vapur’s Anti-Bottles have been adopted by athletes, celebrities, activists and families alike. Vapur Anti- Bottles are reusable, flexible, collapsible, durable, freezable, dishwasher safe and BPA-free. Now drink up and as always, ""Live Flexible."""

  • On the flimsy side…
This product obviously fulfills its basic function, and it is light and compact when empty. But it is very cheaply made of cheap-looking materials, and with some bad luck, the closure will open in your backpack, which might result in unpleasant flooding. The bottle’s look&feel is much more upcycled packaging than hiking gear. I can only wonder, considering that the product is made in China and is anything but cheap, how greedy the brand owners are! ... show more

  • Easy to use and I drink more water now!
I love this bottle! It's so easy to use and I love that it's a fun way to represent my home state. The 1L is a great size and I feel like I drink more water now. I like that it has a clip so you can carry it by it or clip it to your bag. I did notice that I had to blow air into the bottle first to expand it all the way. Then I was able to get the full liter of water in there! Definitely a great bottle and just now about to throw it into the dishwasher to clean it out. Highly recommend :) ... show more

  • Foldable, no leaking, low weight and a space saver.
Got this foldable water bottle mainly for flight trips. I don't want to carry a metal-based water bottle due to the additional weight. I don't want to carry a plastic water bottle as it is taking up my backpack space. This foldable water bottle is a great choice from weight control and space control. There is a plastic orange carabiner on top of the water bottle to easily attach the water bottle to a backpack, or for easy hand-carrying the water bottle. The sip opening has a lid to shield it from exposing when closing. The top of the bottle can be unscrewed to water filing. The opening is quite big for easy water filling. With or without water in it, the water bottle can stand on its own. Of course, with some water in it, it stands more stable. The only issue of the water bottle is the "foldable" 'claim. I try various ways, but I just could not fully roll up the water bottle. The plastic material is flexible but not soft enough to be easily folded (or rolled up). For me, this is not a big deal, as I can easily squeeze it into tight area of my backpack when it is empty. So, there is really no need to roll it up. The seal of this water bottle is good. No water leaking either from the sip (when closing with the lid) or from the water filling opening. And, yes, this water bottle is BPA free. All in all, I am pleased with the foldable water bottle. But only time can tell the durability of it. ... show more

  • Great Travel "Bottle"!
As a professional caddie, I always carry a bottle of water during the golf round to stay hydrated. Metal reusable bottles, though great at keeping water cold, are heavy and take up space in my caddie bib. (Plus they have a tendency to bang into my groin, which is more pain than I want!) Reusing plastic water bottles is a better alternative, but they can make noise while drinking, which means no drinking on the tee box or putting green. My Vapur flexible bottle solves both problems very nicely. I use the included snaplink to hook it onto the side of my bib, so it's out of the way. It's silent (doesn't crackle) while drinking. Rolls up into a compact package, stows in my bib pocket between rounds, so I always have it. This bottle also keeps the contents cool. Because the material is translucent, I can see how much water remains. One minor downside: When filled with cold water, condensation forms on the exterior, which makes it a bit messy. (I wipe the moisture off with my caddie towel, so that's actually a plus for keeping my towel damp.) My bottle has a "California" logo, which is okay for me as I'm a native Californian, but up here in the Pacific Northwest it's not something you want to brag about! Bottom Line: Even if you're not a caddie, this water bottle is a great, eco-friendly travel/hiking accessory. I recommend it. ... show more

  • A little better than another brand I tried
I tried something like this last year, and that version was really just a cheap thing, poorly made, never used. This seems a bit better but still not something I was pleased with. Just the weight of the water isn't enough to expand it so you have to blow on it like a balloon to get it to expand, then get some water in it, blow some more, add more water, etc. Otherwise it just kept somewhat collapsing and not filling fully. Opening is small, so it's going to get messy filling. I was using just my small filtered water spigot which is a tiny thing, not even a 1/4 inch, and even that made this a bit of a challenge. Mostly due to having to constantly stop and inflate it and start filling again with water. The carabiner is a flimsy thing. I can see what they were doing, but I would've preferred them just leaving a D ring or something that I could use my own to hang. The top does seal well though. One thing they did nicely was the shape of the flexible part. My other one made it nearly impossible to fully empty. This one, the seal inside is tapered from the edge towards the mouth, so that the water comes out easily when you empty it and it HAS nowhere else inside to sit and avoid being poured out. ... show more

  • Strong Bag-Type Water Bottle
This is really a great idea: a water bottle that is made of something like a lightweight BPA plastic bag. It is very lightweight but it also is strong enough that you don't have to worry about it breaking if you drop it (we've dropped it a few times!). It's easy to drink from. There are two small negatives worth pointing out: first, there's not a little hole for just any carabiner - the only one that works is the one provided. Second, it's .7L only if you work hard at getting that much water in and fill it to the brim. Realistically when you fill it you'll get around 21 ounces in it. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Anyway, this is great for hiking and camping for sure! ... show more
