I do gig work and the importance of having a dash cam is a necessary part of my safety and peace of mind, so the choice has to be a top of line model with features that include high definition and easy of use, and like everyone else value. So I searched on Amazon and found this model with strong reviews so I decided to give it a try, and I have to say that I am impressed and very happy with my purchase. First off, the dash cam came in a well protected package and camera itself felt solid and made of high quality materials. A plastic pry tool is even included to help you get under your roof liner to run the necessary wires. Everything that you need to install is included and the instructions are actually good and clear. Secondly, I like the slender form of the camera which doesn't intrude into my line of sight while driving, but there is a very nice rectangular screen that displaying what the three lenses see. Yes 3 lenses, one facing forward, rear, and a cabin. The cabin is definitely a highly recommended feature. All the cameras record in HD with the front being 4K and the others 1080p. Thirdly, the rectangular screen displays all cameras, with the rear and cabin being off to the side of the left of the front view. There is even your speed in orange at the bottom right. Everything is easy to read and crisp. Fourthly, via Wifi the dash cam is linked to my phone, I haven't played with this feature too much yet but having real time video on my phone is a plus, and another check mark in the safety category. Also I want to say the night vision on this dash cam is excellent, I am really impressed with the clarity. There are more features that I haven't explored yet but as I discover more it will only raise the value to cost in my mind. I highly recommend the Vantrue N4 Pro if you are looking for a top of the line dash cam, especially if you do gig work. ... show more

I recently bought the VanTrue Nexus N4 Pro dashcam, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. This dashcam offers excellent video quality and a range of features that enhance vehicle safety. I really like this camera, the image quality is great. It is very sharp and definitely a huge upgrade from Sony Starvis I sensor. The dash cam has a Sony Starvis ll sensor which has a prety nite dynamic range. The 4k resolution is a huge if you're coming from 2k or lower res cameras. I thought my wife dash cam had a good picture quality at night, but with this one I can see license plates at night. This camera captures 3 channels/views: front, cabin and rear. All 3 channels have great picture quality. This feature is great for rideshare drivers allowing you to record everything in and out. This camera attaches to the window with the double-sided tape instead of suction cup. Suction cups might fall off during summer. Also the dash camera has a dedicated button to turn on/off the microphone button, which is very handy. You know in case you're having a sensitive conversation that you don't want to be recorded. Overall the menu's are well laid out and easy to navigate. Another good feature the Vantrue app walks you through step by step on how to pair the camera to your phone using the WIFI connection. When connected the app allows you to download all your videos. All in all, the camera is awesome. The 4k resolution and Starvis sensor II are worth the upgrade. The videos quality is clear and crisp.     • Reliable Camera and Excellent customer service
First let me Say I bought this camera to replace another camera (Redtiger ) that stop working in about a year. This camera has great video resolution and works well even in extreme heat. The App is easy to use and has Just enough features and options to allow you to set it up to your liking. Customer Service has been great. I registered the camera as soon ask installed it. Within a week customer service emailed me ask how the camera was working. I had a few questions about the cameras photo feature customer service addressed my concerns and answered my questions in very quick response. when I recently upgraded my phone I notice the app would not connect anymore Camera still worked properly. I contacted customer service and with in a couple of days an update came out and the app was back to working perfectly. Customers service is very quick to respond to your emails and help with any questions or issues you may have. The camera does get hot, but even when my cars interior would get upwards over 150* in the summer the camera would always work. I just hope it continues to work this well. ... show more
