This is my 2nd steamer, I placed one for one side of my face and the other for the other side and I placed my mirror in the middle to be able to give myself a facial. I watched a lot of reviews and especially liked the videos sent in by customers. You can see how strong the steam is coming from the nozzle hole in the videos that sold me on purchasing one. It's super easy to install the water in the reservoir and lasts for over 15 minutes. It steams out the dirt in your pores and I even breathe in for my sinuses. I ordered another steam product that you could also add essential oils to, where you put a little pad under the steam vent but the hot steam that comes out did nothing as the steam didn't even touch it. And that one had the most awful toxic plastic smell that never went away. I was literally afraid to inhale any of the steam or open my eyes because that couldn't be good for you! It also completely stopped every 15 to 30 seconds interrupting the continuous flow and relaxation. This one was a bit more expensive but much better quality and has a larger water reserve so it lasts about 20 min., more than the 8 minutes like the previous one. But the last one in this one you are able to adjust the angle of this team vent slightly and for whatever reason the angle on this works much better at reaching the correct angle than the other one. That one I literally had to almost squat to get it close to the right angle and sitting in a chair didn't help. This one has the area to put the essential oils on right at the very base of where the steam comes out and you can smell your oils as you should! The steam is more consistent although it will lose a little power every so often but everything about it is better than the last one by far! It did have a little bit of a smell in the beginning but mostly just that one time. I use reverse osmosis purified water. This has more than enough steam for a facial. I start by steaming my face and then I add some kind of mask or serum and then let it steam some more. if you were to run out of steam it is auto shut off. You have to put it upside down a couple of times to make sure you shake all the water out but it's not like the last one where it could easily build up mold or bacteria in the bottom. This one seems just all-around better and worth the price even if it doesn't come with a lot of tools and spatulas and vibrating brushes on the side. It’s my first face steamer purchase so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but I will say I really love this steamer! I travel a lot for work and like that it’s portable, easy to fit into my suitcase. I googled steps for at home steam facials and followed them and my skin has been looking unbelievably great. This is an amazing face steamer! As someone who was getting monthly facials, this became my new at home facial! No more spa trips bc I turned my house into one with this! First off, it’s very compact. Can simply be left on your bathroom counter, or under the bathroom sink, closet, wherever! It is simple to fill with water, and simple to use. It heats up practically immediately so no need to sit around waiting for the steam to start. I love that the nozzle can be adjusted up and down. It lasts around 10 mins for me, maybe up to 15, which is plenty of time in my opinion! Any more and I’d get stir crazy lol I tried the essential oil nozzles but found them not to work as great and prefer to have a separate essential oil diffuser next to me for the same and slightly better effect. I loved this so much after the first time I used it that I immediately bought one for my brothers gf who also loves her skincare! And she’s just as obsessed! Highly recommend!!!! ... show more

I did not expect this affordable facial steamer to be as good as it is. I love getting professional facials but cant always get there — not to mention how costly they are. But I did want some pampering at home and love the steam!
