  • Best starter keyboard
Got this for our four year old who wanted to start music classes. This thing is really wonderful - super portable and light, amazing that it has all 88 keys, sound quality is good and with weighted keys. Though it's not weighted like a real piano it still allows for pressure sensitive response, eg hit the keys harder will give a louder sound. What sold me was the lighted keys and ability to pair with a BT device. My daughter uses POPiano app with it and plays Silent Night, Happy Birthday etc. The light weight of it alone coupled with its high quality sound was enough, but there are other keyboards out there with these features. The BT pairing and lightup keys was the sell point. We love the travel case too. Note: the music stand that it comes with is held to the keyboard with two small cheap plastic pegs which immediately broke when the cousins were running by. I drove two trim screws into it to fix it, but if you're not handy don't expect that part of the keyboard to last. It's the only poor design part of the machine. ... show more

  • Practice anywhere
I'd spent far too much time death scrolling on my phone waiting for my crew to be ready for the next phase of work, day by day. I'd knowing I'm wasting my time on Facebook with a life long desire to learn the piano in my thoughts. This was it; the solution. I can lay this thing across my lap in the cab of my machine and practice while I wait with music on the steering wheel. I can tell that if abused the plastic clip that holds it flat would break. Luckily I haven't had that issue yet. The finger feel isn't absolutely terrible, and the key texture feels nice to touch. The thing doesn't sound great especially on the low end but it's PLENTY LOUD for practice indoors. All that said, I'm in love with the thing and what it makes possible. ...I haven't tried headphones. I wonder if that would improve low end tone and pitch? IDK. I'm going to keep going on this thing until it dies, and then buy another and another until Casio's PSX1100 comes foldable and with a rechargeable internal battery, 2 indispensable features this thing's got. Key on. ... show more

  • Replaced by manufacturer after it broke!
Color: Black
The thin plastic hinges in the center broke after under a dozen uses within 2 months. I emailed the support on the website regarding getting a replacement hinge part or getting other repair support. The fragile hinge is clearly a separate piece from the body. I planned gluing a couple metal hinges from the hardware store, but the support team responded to my inquiry same day and offered a full replacement piano! Keys light up and feel weighted very well. The VR app Piano Vision works well for learning more songs with this midi keyboard. very compact! ... show more

  • Bad audio quality and sticky keys. Not for experts or intermediate players.
Color: Black
The keyboard wasn’t good quality, the keys were kinda of small and it was overall not too portable as it was still big. If you’re tone sensitive this keyboard will not be good as it plays a different sound on the same key sometimes. The price for this keyboard isn’t the best for what you get, but something else. ... show more

  • So far so good.
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I just purchased this and haven’t used it much but so far it seems like a pretty good keyboard. Pretty good quality considering how affordable it is. I saw in someone else’s review that they didn’t believe the tone button worked. You have to press it (maybe 2-3 times to get the message across) and then select the tone you want with the knob. It’s not that it didn’t work, you just have to try a couple times. I’m not sure what the chord button does and I’m not sure if I can slow down the tempo while learning the songs that would probably knock a star off of my rating if it doesn’t, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out when I read the manual. I’ll update if necessary. ... show more

  • A good piano to practice on, but certainly not for professionals
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I needed a decent keyboard to build up my skills again and to get down the songs in my head but didn't have a lot of money to budget. This was a great solution for it's price, however i wouldn't consider this to be your main keyboard for performances. This also could be used well as a MIDI keyboard to expand sounds and maybe record a little but nothing more. I also love how portable and lightweight it is and that it doesn't need any plug. Overall i am satisfied with the product and with what I paid for it. Now i need to save up for a professional one. ... show more

  • Works as a midi controller
The media could not be loaded. Here are my thoughts: 1. I'm not really sure why I got the foldable one... they sell a version that doesn't fold too in case you didn't see it. If you want to put this on a piano stand (not a table) you will need to buy a board to support the keyboard so that it doesn't put stress on the folding part. I bought a shelf for 10 dollars at home depot that is the perfect size and supports the piano on the piano stand. 2. I also ended up buying a new pedal... you can definitely play with the pedal it comes with but ithe sewing machine style just doesn't feel right. Make sure that any pedal you buy is compatible with the 3.5mm jack, or buy a converter. 3. Since I am mostly just playing with headphones for fun, I tried using the USB midi in the free cakewalk program. I thought I would sample a few free VST plugins that I really liked as well. Piano001 is what that inbuilt sound on the piano is like. I reccomend using VST plugins for this piano in either cakewalk or cantible because you can make it sound a lot more pleasing without spending any extra money. The midi functionality works pretty ok, even with my low spec laptop. I used Windows WASAPI shared audio driver, which eliminated most of the lag. ... show more

  • Could be better
1..Poor volume, had to use an external speaker in order to hear it 2..screen is VERY SMALL 3.. settings don't save.u have to cycle through EACH TIME 4..recordings don't save 5..instructions are a joke..serious learning curve SOUND/NOTES are about a 6 if u are tone sensitive this will bother u.. Fold is ok..but could have a better way to protect the keyboard since the keys are folded to the outside of the case ..be careful how you handle and place it ... show more
