So I have a tiny apartment kitchen with a tiny apartment stove lol I am always looking for ways to maximize space and an above stove a spice rack seemed like a great idea. I can say this definitely gives me so much more room! However, for an apartment size stove like mine the top part is only about an inch or two wide, and definitely not wide enough for the shelf to sit flat on its own. My stove is also slanted so the rack is slanted as well, but I was able to secure it to the wall with command strips, and it seems to be pretty sturdy so far! And even though it is tilted downwards, the spices seem to be securely sitting in their place. I gave it 4 stars, because of the simple fact that the magnets are pretty much useless. I am pretty happy with this product overall. It is easily adjustable and the magnets are pretty easily fixed to the shelf. That said, if you are like me and have a stove top that is not totally flat, you might find that this shelf moves around a bit too easily, whether placing an average weight spice/sauce container on one end or bumping it. I think stronger magnets would make it perfect, as the included ones are good enough to hold it on to the top, but not strong enough to prevent easy sliding around.
