I was a bit cautious about this purchase because I typically don't buy anything on Amazon with sub-4 star ratings, but I took a chance on this couch and I'm glad I did. It shipped promptly and arrived in two large boxes - you'll definitely need two people to move the boxes and assemble this couch, but assembly was fairly straightforward. It took my friend and I a little more than an hour to get it fully put together. The cushions come flat in vacuum-sealed bags - I kept them in their packaging until it was time to put everything together, and they took about a day to fully fluff up. Note that the back cushions and armrest pillows are not exceptionally fluffy, as other reviewers have noted, but they definitely do the job and you could easily add throw pillows for extra comfort. I've had this couch set up for about a week now, and I mostly keep it in sleeper bed mode because it's so cozy. I have a pretty small apartment, and I love that I can host movie nights or have a friend stay the night if needed. It also works well as extra seating. The sleeper mode does not go all the way flat as pictured - you still have the backrest that stays upright - but seeing as I've fallen asleep on this couch multiple times, I don't think that will be an issue with overnight guests. The storage chaise is a huge plus for storing extra blankets or bedding too. The boucle fabric is very soft and looks amazing, but I will note that if you have pets, it's easy for them to snag their nails on. Just something to keep in mind! 1. Couch arrives in 2 boxes a day apart from fedex, you only get the tracking number for the first box. Had to contact seller about the other box. 2. Easy to assemble, I did it by myself in 3 hours but it would help to have a 2nd person. 3. This couch is SMALL! My legs hang off the chaise and I’m 5’7. I have to keep the pull out part pulled out because the couch is too small to sit on without it and I’ll have to invest in an ottoman to place at the end of the chaise. 4. The two pieces (the party with 2 seats and the chaise) are incredibly difficult to connect. They have weird brackets (I included a photo) and you have to lift up either the main part of the chaise and position it just right so the brackets slide into each other. I gave up because I couldn’t get it to connect to save my life so now the two pieces slide away from each other if you sit down on the couch with any force. 5. The part that you pull out to make the couch bigger on the two seater part is held onto the track by a tiny brass screw looking thing on each side and at the end there’s a short metal stopper but if you move or barely touch the couch it falls of the track and will roll away and in order to put it back on the track you have to take the cushion off to lift up and place the little screw over the little plate and it’s just so flawed. It shouldn’t fall off that easily. 6. The back rest of the couch is so short, the pillows are taller than the back and it feels so odd. 7. The back pillows are armrest pillows are so flat, make sure you have pillows to add to it. 8. This couch is aesthetically pleasing and cute but for $515 I expect better quality and not so many design flaws. Looking back on it I would have picked a different couch but now I’m stuck with this. 9. The cushion covers rip very easily on the bottom, if you take them off to wash/clean and try to put them back on it will rip! This cannot be fixed. 10. I was really worried ordering this couch because of all the negative reviews I read. But I’m on a tight budget and my family desperately needed to make the best of our little living room. For reference, my previous couch didn’t have any storage or really any place to put our feet so movie nights were uncomfortable to say the least. I had seen this couch on TikTok and loved the fact it was “fuzzy”. While it is soft and cute, because it is a Sherpa material, EVERYTHING gets caught in it. Hair, fur, lint, you name it. I already knew this would be an issue and planned on getting a cover so it’s not an issue for me, but just so you guys are aware. Everything came at the same time (I know a few people said boxes came at different times or days) and the boxes were not damaged. It took two of us about an hour and a half to set the whole thing up, so assembly was easy. Directions are pretty clear in my opinion. The storage capacity is fairly decent. I haven’t utilized it yet but the chaise and the pullout part work smoothly without any catching. The backrest is shorter but as a previous reviewer mentioned, if you add pillows it’s comfy. My only problem is it feels a little thin when sitting on it as a couch. But that is an easy fix. I do plan on putting more filling in the seat cushions. I first "met" this sofa at a friend's house, where they were using it as a guest bed, and it was just the perfect firmness for me during my stay. The size and configuration also seemed perfect for my smallish home theater, so I asked them for the link to buy one of my own! It arrived quickly (though, as some others have expressed, both boxes did not arrive on the same day, but the second box did arrive the next day.) The assembly instructions were very clear and the only tools required were the nifty allen wrench/screwdriver they included. It took me under an hour, and I even figured out that it's possible to switch the chaise section from the right to the left end, which worked out better for our room. The vacuum-packed cushions had already expanded by the time I was done, and my cat had already adopted one of them before I even put it on the sofa. We've inaugurated it by watching a movie, and it was perfectly comfortable for the two of us (plus the cat, of course!) I can easily imagine seating four people comfortably, where we could only fit three on our old sofa. Being able to turn it into a bed when needed is just a bonus! ... show more
