I was finally able to save up for a bed for my husband and I, and I came across this. We’ve been tight on money so I wanted to make sure I would spend on something worth it and let me just say this bed is so beautiful ! I have no complaints other than it took me five hours to build, but keep in mind I had never built anything in my life 😂 and my husband was not here so I wanted to surprise him. It came with all the parts but I will say two of the steps showed the incorrect numbers for the parts needed of the bed in the instruction manual, but I was able to figure it out because I was almost done and I was able to assume based on how the parts looked in the photo. It took my a while to figure out how to start because I was confused of whether or not to screw in the camlots but you do! That’s probably just me not ever building anything so I wouldn’t have known until I watched the video of how to build it, that is shown when you’re viewing the product. Other than that no complaints at all after I understood what I was doing it was very easy to build I did buy a small power drill and made my life easier. The bed is beautiful and amazing quality for the price! I got a size up since we will be sizing up on our mattress as well! I put four stars for how easy it is to assemble only because it would really benefit to have someone help you! ... show more

It looks really good! I’ve slept on it for a week now and it holds up great! Takes a long time to put together by yourself, definitely recommend a second hand. I did it alone and got it done in four hours, instructions are easy to understand, sometimes things were mislabeled but easy to fix. Definitely recommend a drill and star bits! So, we went to a few local places looking at king-size bedframes and mattresses. WHOA! The prices are astronomical! So, back home to Amazon we go and we found this bedframe. After seeing the prices in the stores, I thought this one wouldn't be good at all. I was wrong! It's actually very nice. Very sturdy, attractive, the doors slide nicely, and it doesn't look or feel "cheap" in any way. It arrived about a week earlier than expected (the two boxes arrived a day apart via FedEx), so the two of us got right to assembling it. Took awhile - probably the better part of 3 hours. We went to a local mattress store and found a Stearnes & Foster king mattress that was "scuffed" in transport for $299! Fits perfect on this bedframe, and the whole bed set really makes a difference in our room (we had a queen size previously). The price is amazing for the quality you get, and at the time of purchase, it had a $100 coupon which covered the shipping 100%. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is how the drawers "lock" in - you kind of have to lift the drawer up and manage to get it in the drawer catch slot. But, the drawers are completely solid, not wire baskets, so that's a big plus. The outlets and USB ports are super handy and work great! All in all, VERY happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again and probably will for our downstairs master bedroom. ... show more

You know it's bad when you dream of an Ikea purchase instead. My problems with this run deep... My first issue was the fact that I was missing a large piece of the headboard that made it impossible to put together. After further discovery, I realized that they sent incorrect drawers for the underbed storage. They drawers are NOT solid wooden drawers, they are wire drawers that make it impossible to store anything. Even folded t-shirts or purses are problematic, as they fall through. Seeing I was needing storage for Legos and toys, that was one of the reasons I purchased the frame. After multiple calls to their customer service that ended with no one picking up and the line disconnecting, I sent an email. From there, I communicated with them for 3 weeks, sporadically getting emails, sometimes taking 5 days to get back to me. They stated they had to send me an entirely new frame, due to the fact that they don't send individual parts. Carrying two 100lb boxes up my third floor walk up was difficult the first time, so doing it twice and having to throw out the old one was not what I wanted or ideal, but that was my only option. Once the new frame got here, I saw that the drawers were the same as they were previously. On top of that, taking the new part out of the box and trying to pick up where I had left off 3 weeks before was impossible. The new piece and, as I came to realize, the entire frame, was slightly different. The screws were different and the fitting was incorrectly placed, so I had to start from scratch. Aside from that, the instructional manuals were both incorrect. Pieces were mislabeled and incorrect instructions were printed that made the guessing game of what would work even more time consuming. In wishing it was Ikea, at the very least, Ikea rarely misses parts in their packages. Their products are what they state they are and come with a manual that is clear and does not leave it up to you to figure out which piece goes where. Ikeas customer service is attentive and comes with answers. This product comes with none of that. I just had to purchase a new frame from a different place, as this was way too much of a headache and missed my entire intention of storing things under the bed. I purchased this a month ago and am still dealing with it and still do not have a functioning bedframe, only 4 boxes of random pieces all over and more stress than is necessary. The lack of assistance from them and the lack of consistency in their products, ASIDE from the misrepresentation of what they are actually sending you, should tell you all you need to know about it. Very nicely made and sturdy. Me and my boyfriend aren't skinny and it holds us great. Love how it has extra shelves for storage and you can hide stuff behind the sliding doors when you have guests over. Also love how it has usb and outlets on the top of the bed. Extra plugs to have around the bed us perfect cause we need two phone chargers, a charger for our massager and nice for when one of us needs to use the heating pad. Nice material and the two pull roll out drawers on the bottom of the bed work perfectly for my boyfriends clothes, till we our dresser gets here then we're gonna use them for our living room cover storage. ... show more
