For some reason, one of my tires goes down a little too much when it's really cold outside. I was tired of going to the gas station every few days to air up that tire. Those $1.75-$2.50 for air add up, especially when it's so frequent. Even beyond the money, the time and gas that was spent airing them up was excessive as well -- especially being that it's super cold and that I never knew if an air pump worked until I paid. I order this air pump with skepticism because of the price. But the reviews were promising, so I opted to try it out. I used it today and it works amazingly!! I aired up my tire while finishing getting dressed and while my car was warming up. The Device: The device is super lightweight (which initially heightened my skepticism). But this little thing packs some power! The cord is long enough to reach each tire. You can set the PSI (other forms of measurement are available as well) as soon as you plug it into the port. It latches onto the valve stem perfectly so that air doesn't seep back out (unlike gas station air pumps). Once latched, the device shows how much air is currently in the tire. Then, press in the power button and it starts right up! I was able to shut and lock my car door and go back inside with it running. Once the tire reached the set PSI, it automatically turned itself off. Remember, since it was latched, no air seeped out; so the PSI stayed even without me immediately detaching the device. The Sound: My car was parked right outside of my front door. Honestly, I could barely hear the machine once I closed my door. I could hear something, but I would have been able to make out what it was had I not started it up myself. And this was without any TV or anything playing inside. I'm confident that my neighbors won't be disturbed at all by this device, which was an initial concern of mine. The only downside is that I didn't hear it when it stopped. But is this really a downside? Not really; I just couldn't think of a better way to put it. I guess it's a "good problem". But you'd better remember to check on it so that you can turn off your car. And remember, the air doesn't seep back out (for the 3rd time, LOL). The Speed: Being that I didn't hear it stop, I cannot say exactly how long it took to air finish. But I can attest that I was only inside for less than 5 minutes. And in that timeframe, it aired up my tire from 11.5 PSI (don't judge me, I've intentionally waited to get this device to test it out since I barely drive) to my set 25 PSI. I should've aired it up more, but I set it to 25 PSI so that's where it stopped. I later pumped a little more in it and it took less than a minute to get to 28 PSI. And I'll add that going from 11.5 to 25 didn't cause the device to get hot at all. I haven't used it at night yet, so I cannot review the light. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!! I only used it once so far, but its easy to use, did it's job, and is easy to store. Is kind of noisy, and per instructions, should only be used in 10 min intervals. More than enough time to fill 4 tires.

I was a bit worried when I bought this as others have stated the length of time it takes when inflating auto tires. However, I used this for my vehicle on all four tires and it took no longer than stopping at a local gas station air pump. I don’t know if it’s just me, but tires don’t seem to be made like they used to. Either that, lot we drove with chronically low tires until the 2000s. It seems that my tire air gauge light is constantly going on with the changing of the weather from warmer days into cooler ones, and on occasion at other times throughout the year. With this little compressor, I can connect it to the phone charger part of my car, turn my car on, and in minutes have all of my tires aired up and ready to go. I can do this in an area, where I feel safe… my own garage. No longer am I down on the ground at a gas station, waiting to be the victim of assault. I’m in charge of where I fill my tires and when. The other thing I like about this is that once you learn how to use the device and have your settings set, all you have to do is press a button, and it does all the work for you. Finally, the device has a light on it for that rare occasion that you might find yourself in need of airing up a tire at night. I cart this in my trunk at all times, along with my Halo, which allows me to jump my car all by myself, in case I ever need that, or if someone else is ever in need. I highly recommend this little tool. It’s handy. I have a Toyota Camry, but I’ve also used it on a Toyota RAV4. Gentlemen… get this for the woman you love… not in place of a romantic gift for that special occasion (For those types of relationships! Not this, and not a vacuum, unless she’s asked for a vacuum!!!), but as a “just because” gift, for when you can’t be there to help. Dads for daughters; brothers for sisters, etc… ... show more
