The media could not be loaded. I love the speed, comfort, size, and how easy to build and operate the bike. This bike did come with a defective headlight but i reached out to the company and within only a few hours they responded and were very understanding of the situation and very quickly sent a replacement that arrived in less than a week and im so to have bought the bike from them. The bike functional for many things like putting a crate on the second seat and carrying things in it and taking a second person on a joy ride. This review may seem untrue and unrealistic but I’m just being honest so if you don’t believe then so be it. I was thinking about getting a Ridstar but I’ve realized that the Ouxi V8 was honestly the better option. The weight of the bike isn’t too much or too little. Also the power of the bike is perfect. The only complaint is how the battery doesn’t last me as long as I’d like but it’s not that big of an issue because i can ride for about 2-3 hours (without holding the throttle constantly). But overall the bike and the company is incredible and high quality. You definitely get your moneys worth! I highly recommend! ... show more

My son saved up for a year to buy this bike and LOVES it. It's fast, fun, and well built for the price. I worked in the bike industry for a few years and have been wrenching on bikes for over 2 decades. From what I've seen in the market there isn't much difference between this bike and anything else below ~$1800 for class 3 moto style ebikes. Also, after owning this I understand why most bike shops won't touch them. They are a different animal than a traditional bike, the learning curve to work on them is higher. They are much heavier and more unwieldy. That said my 14 year old son assembled his and repairs his on his own. People complaining about flat tires should educate themselves on the basics of bicycle ownership and maintenance before leaving bad reviews. All bikes get flat tires. I own multi thousand dollar carbon bikes that also get flats. Repairing flats is an unfortunate reality of owning a bike, not a manufacturer defect. This bike at least comes with brand name Kenda tires instead of the off brand tires I often see on most cheap Amazon bikes. All that said fixing a flat on heavy ebikes like this (regardless of brand or price) isn't as straight forward as a standard bicycle. There are options to reduce the risk of punctures. I filled the tubes with sealant using a core remover and syringe kit. It's pretty straight forward and considering the effort required to remove the rear wheel for tube/tire repair worth the time investment. We had an issue with a faulty part within a month of purchase. Reached out to customer service, sent them a video of the issue, they have a replacement on the way. I've been impressed with their support. Buy this bike but know what you are getting into. No bike is maintenance free. Ebikes being more complex means potentially more maintenance. Do not purchase this item. Within five seconds of my son riding it, the tube blew out and he almost hurt himself. I reached out to customer service. They offered another tube. However, the reviews for the tube show that they constantly break. I expressed I wanted to return the bike and they gave me a label with postage necessary, which would’ve cost almost 500 to return. Amazon said they would help and that was a whole other runaround for weeks, but when I asked the seller for the prepaid label, they continued to run me in circles until one day, they replied that they were on a national holiday obviously not in this country. I continued to get ran around and told a prepaid label is not available, but I can wait for it to be available. If not, I should sell the bike on my own. I ended up having to pay the shipping and get Amazon to reimburse me and then do a dispute on my credit card for the purchase. The address that they give you to return the bike cannot be found in UPS‘s computer so that was a whole other problem. They are the only ones that ship due to the size and weight of the package. ... show more

This is a good value for what you get (I purchased two). The assembly is pretty straightforward, however, the instruction manual offers little thumbnail photos that are not much help. There are plenty of videos online offering instructions on how to put it together. The seat is fairly comfortable and offers multiple riding positions due to its length. The passenger seat that it comes with actually works very well. We've been using it with our 7-year-old daughter with no problems. The headlight at night is bright enough to see any obstacles and avoid them. The battery life in my experience has been great. However I do a lot of pedaling. There are only two things that really bothered me. The brakes are not great. They will stop the bike, however they are extremely noisy and squeaky. The noise takes away from the tranquility of riding a bike. Also, when you arrive somewhere populated with people, it's just embarrassing. I tried everything I could to quiet these breaks down, to no avail. I finally caved in and bought some new brake pads. I only spent 10 bucks to outfit two bikes with brake pads. The new pads are much better and the noise no longer exists. The other minor issue is one of the headlights was scratched and it looked like they tried to go over it with a black sharpie from the factory. I would have rather seen it just scratch due to shipping. The fact that they actually saw it and tried to cover it up with a sharpie is disappointing. If they saw the manufacturing defect they should have just put a proper light on the bike. ... show more
