The laser side mount was a breeze to sight in as well. I sighted the scope to hit about 1" high at 100 yards. The laser I sighted in closer for quicker target acquisition. I really like the build of this scope. It’s solid! Just unboxed it and am very pleased with it so far. ******** UPDATE ******** I Initially left a 5-star rating for this scope. I really wanted to like it. When I turned the reticle off (from red to black), it would power itself back on and the reticle would be red again within 1 hour. Holding the buttons down for 3 seconds did absolutely nothing but illuminate the reticle to the next brightest level. The on/off button for the laser worked fine. Mind you, this is the second scope. I returned the first one for doing the exact same thing. Customer service was excellent, however, and they asked if I wanted to replace it again. I've decided to return the second one and move on and research an optic that may be a bit less troublesome. Possibly one with no illumination whatsoever. I put this sucker on my HK sl8 and only use the Lazer out to 50 yards. Installing it took 15 minutes! It's a deadly combination. I don't know if it's the scope or the HK but they are definitely an amazing combination!

Easy adjustments, and clear optics. I use it on one of my AR-15's and so far it seems to work great. Only downside is it's a little bulky with the battery compartments on both sides on top. I have not had to re-adjust since sighting the scope.
