Mounting: Living in an apartment, this has been difficult to mount effectively. It has a tiny little ring at the top. Initially I hung it on a (damage-free) Command hook high on the wall but it kept falling down. Next I resorted to drilling a little eyelet into the ceiling and though it seemed to work for a while, one day it fell out and now I have a small hole in the ceiling I will have to deal with when I move out. Currently, I have a loft bunk over my bed and I clamped on a TV mount on the top bar, to which I clipped this curtain. So far so good; it's still up and it hangs low enough to drape onto the floor, meaning there is no part of the bed uncovered. Effectiveness still undetermined: I am still trying to conclude whether this curtain helps or not. Just today I discovered that the cell phone signal is one bar less inside the curtain than outside it, but the wifi signals (there are many) seemed unaffected. I will continue researching. I do have a tri-meter but have never fully trusted it because I have read from other sources that it is impossible to move the human being from the equation, i.e. the readings will appear better than they actually are because your body can act as a conduit. I wish I understood more about electricity to be able to figure this out myself since there is so much conflicting information online. Background and summary: All I know is that I don't FEEL like I'm sleeping any better with this net. I want it to be true but I'm not yet convinced. I am temporarily living in a dense urban setting in an apartment building where everyone leaves their wifi on 24/7. I turn my wifi off at night, as well as my cell phone, but there are still hundreds of wifi networks around me at all times. Today I became so drowsy that I climbed into bed for a nap without turning off the wifi or my phone, closed the curtain around me, and napped several hours. I had strange dreams and woke feeling terrible, so I pulled my phone into the curtain with me to see what affect it had. The cell signal immediately dropped one bar - which is good - but there was no noticeable difference on the strength of any wifi signal of mine or my neighbors' networks. Many years ago, I had grounding mats and sheets on everything; I was one of the early adopters. But I lived in a suburban area and there were not as many wifi networks back then. I had wifi that I turned off each night but several of my neighbors did not even have wifi back then. As I noticed the numbers of wifi networks grow exponentially and as I read more about grounding that made the question whether I was actually making myself a conduit by having the earthing mats and sheets on everything, I gradually stopped grounding. I have had some health problems that wax and wane over the years but it's impossible to parse out what is caused by modern living and what would have happened anyway. But recently my job transferred and I am temporary living in a downtown area surrounded by apartment buildings and wifi everywhere, way more than suburbia. I have not felt well here but again, it's impossible to know what other factors are at play - I am away from family so something as simple as loneliness could be affecting my health. The water and air quality here could be affecting me. If one believes in factors such as lay lines and/or geo astrology, this could be an incompatible physical location. As complicated as humans are and modern life has become, it is nearly impossible to isolate specific factors on health and sleep quality. Frustratingly, it takes constant trial and error on the part of each individual to find what works best for them. Future updates: Earthing has been so hard to understand and figure out personally for my health that I will make sure to come back to this review and update as I discover more about this canopy, such as how I just discovered today that it reduce my cell phone signal 1 bar. As I mentioned, I was an early adopter of earthing mats about 15 years ago and I read the seminal book on the subject... but I have never fully understood it and have watched the exponential increase of wifi and cell phone signals since then.
