The cup comes wrapped in a bubble-wrapped bag in a cardboard box (see picture). The description of the item is accurate for a 16 oz cup but be aware that is about an 1/8 of an inch from the top so I probably would not put that much coffee or tea within it. It’s the color specified and does have smooth enamel which in cups I currently have makes for easy handwashing. It came with no defects in the stoneware or glaze. For its price point if holds hot and cold as specified it would be a good coffee or tea cup for work. NOTE: My concern (and why I removed one star) is that the “about this item” specifies that the mug is freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe yet the bottom of the cup does not say so and the box label from urbanstrive also says nothing about this. In fact, the cup has no labeling whatsoever to show whom you purchased it from. The label on the box does specify made in China but other mugs I have in the cupboard made in China say dishwasher and microwave safe on the bottom. I looked up stoneware online and it specified that it is oven, dishwasher and freezer safe but to avoid extreme temperature changes when using and to check with the manufacturer as certain glazes can be affected. But as I said above the cup says nothing on the bottom including if its stoneware so I don't know that I woud put it in the microwave at work. ... show more

    • The perfect mug for my morning tea
I wanted a new mug to be my go to for my morning cup of tea. I like the simple relaxing turquoise color. No need for a cheeky little phrase or a frilly design pattern. The size and weight for me seems just about perfect, nice and roomy but not oversized, and a decent substantial weight without being overly weighty. Sometimes I want to add a couple of ice cubes if I want to chill my drink a bit, and this has ample room to do that. Also easy to get your hand in there and wash it up too. I like this cup I leave it under my Keurig and just it every morning I wake up! I love looking forward to using this cup as it just works so well. I love how it holds 16 Oz as I needed to make sure I wouldn’t spill my cup of coffee. As my Keurig can only make 10 Oz cups.
