Overall i am very pleased with this and it looks beautiful on my toddlers full bed. I love the fact that it is cotton inside and out. Seems hard to find these days. Here in the south, we need the cooler cotton :) lol The pillows it came with are adorable. I aimed to get something that would grow with her and i feel this was a wise choice. I went ahead and washed & dried it and it came out fine. I'm hoping it will soften more with time as cotton does. It's not scratchy or anything but just feels new. After the first wash & dry, it seemed to soften a tad. It is lightweight and perfect for summer here in the extreme south. I did see a few loose threads after washing and drying, but it is not unraveling or anything. I guess time will tell about the quality. I got this on sale for around $60-$69. Given the prices and inflation, i am satisfied with the sale price but i wouldn't pay more for it. However, i absolutely love it and most of all, my 2 1/2 year old really loves it too and that is most important :) She fluffed the unicorn pillow and brought the blanket to her room.
