I don't write reviews, but these deserve a shout-out. The quality and price cannot be beaten. They are much nicer than what I saw in stores, even at higher prices. The packaging was wonderful, and the quality of the frames exceeded my expectations for the price. There were no scuffs, scratches, or marks on the frames or the glass, and all the corners lined up nicely! The back was made of a nice quality material instead of cardboard, and the clips were quick and easy to use to pop the artwork in and out of the frame. They can be used in landscape or portrait position on a wall, or they have a flip-out stand if you prefer to use them on a flat surface. Unless you want to increase your budget substantially, I would recommend getting these. I've purchased similar frames at similar prices, and these are definitely the nicest at this price point. You can see some minor alignment defects where the frame edges come together, but these aren't noticeable unless you are, as the camera was, about three inches from the wall. The fasteners on the back firmly hold the photos in place and it's reasonably easy to put stuff into the frames. And it really is a flat glass panel on the front, so you don't get the ugly warp of reflections off a plastic panel. Very pleased with these! ... show more

5 stars for sure! These frames (3 to a package) were a great deal. They were extremely well packaged with each frame individually sealed in plastic, thick pieces of cardboard between each frame and the three of them wrapped together in double layers of bubble wrap and fitted snugly into the manufacturerā€™s box, then that box was in an Amazon box. 11 x 14 Frames holding late 1890ā€™s and early 1905 reproduction 8.5 x 11 photoā€™s of Philadelphia. This idea of buying 3 frames for these photoā€™s started when I saw a set of 3 frames at Staples for $30.00. The following is my review of these 3 11 x 14 frames: Selection: Impressive. So many mix and match options itā€™s almost dizzying. As others from Amazon told me, for my 8.5 x 11 photos the 11 x 14 is the better option than the 12 x 16 which states it is for 8.5x11 wirh Mat. Yes there is some of the photo around the edges that is not seen but to me thatā€™s better than the backing of the frame being seen if or when the picture were to shift. Again great selection. Donā€™t be afraid of the 11x14 for 8.5x11 photos. Price: I donā€™t think youā€™ll get a better price deal, with any company, unless their quality drops in some way. Or you get them at a Prime event. That original $30 at Staples is not too car off for what the market is asking. Quality: This is where I couldnā€™t give that 5th star. From a distance they look great. And if I ever have a home invasion Iā€™ll wing one at the intruders like a chinese star with blades. The corners will cut off their heads. The plastic is so hard that the corners are really sharp and pointed. Do not place over anyoneā€™s bed. In addition to the points of the corners where each side meets the other there is a bevel up or down, meaning itā€™s mot smooth on one of the three, the Liberty Bell frame. And lastly as I was unboxing and putting in the photos I noticed abrasion marks where some machine pushed so hard that it scratched the back portions of the frames. Please donā€™t misunderstand me. I believe quality checking does occur. I think it could be improved and you know I think something can be done about the corners were there so sharp. I know these things because on one of the Vikings there was a misaligned rivet or one red it fell out and they put in a new one so on the picture frame with the buildings and the lighter buildings there you can see a hole where the red it was had been and somebody did the quality control, checked and found out that there was missing one. The hole is along the bottom portion in the left-hand side. You can see it if you blow up the photo. So I say all these things because I saw somebody else mention quality, but he was talking more about the facts, and how the wall hanging portion those you know those little grabbers are not in the same position on every single frame, and I will have to look out for that myself so obviously there are some quality control issues but he didnā€™t really mention the same ones I found out so thatā€™s a another thing, so are they worth lying? Yes, I donā€™t think and I donā€™t think I put them in a childā€™s room or anywhere they could accidentally fall off and hurt somebody. Iā€™m not sending them back and I donā€™t want anything from the company. They are what they are, mass produced plastic frames. As comparison, because I like frames, the larger almost poster like photo with its frame was a custom made frame made by my local frame maker. Sheā€™d be disappointed in me for the 3 that I purchased. And Iā€™d say to herā€¦ - Shhh. If youā€™re not paying for them, or giving me a better discount, then you get no say in this. The photos are off my floor, in frames, and they didnā€™t cost me so much that I had to go without food for the week. These 3 are perfectly fine. - Will submit more photos when I decide which wall. These frames are exactly what I wanted! Theyā€™re made well and will look beautifully in my new bathroom decorated in black and white. I almost didnā€™t order them from Amazon worrying they might break during shipment, but they were packaged VERY well with bubble wrap and heavy cardboard between each one all in a separate box. Not the best quality frames out there, but the glass is decent as well as the metal frame. The backing could be a little bit better. You can't beat the $19.99 point off with three frames.

I found these to be a good value for the price. I discarded the mat as I needed the 11 x 14 size for my pictures, which fit perfectly. The clips on the back were easy to use. It was important to me that they came with glass.
