These are basic black frames, perfect for 12 x 18 posters or black-and-white photos. Ready to hang either landscape or portrait format. The spring-loaded clips make it easy to install the picture in the frame and work well with very thin paper or thicker matted artwork. I ordered a bunch of these frames and similar ones from other brands and I can say the same thing about ll of them because they're all essentially the same. I framed about 20 prints and posters at once and I annoyed me a lot at first until I got into the groove of things. By the end of it my thumb hurt from pushing the little clips into place about 100 times to secure the back panel, but thats to be expected. If you want something prestigious or with weight to it this isnt the frame for you. I'm 25 and on a budget and I liked them a lot despite them being slightly annoying to open up 20x over. They look nice on the wall and you cant tell by looking at it that its made with plexiglass and not glass. Idk how they would do sitting on a desk etc, but to put up on the wall they're sleek and lightweight and look nice. ... show more
