If you know about FP Little People, then you already know most of my review, but this was the first time I bought anything that was part of the FP LP line. These little animals are super durable and hold up to a ton of play; my 3 year old has been building them magnatile tents and tucking them in almost daily for weeks now. They are fun but realistic colors and each animal has its own little spot in the tree holder with some pictures behind it. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that I thought this tree unit was more of a 'house' they could play in, but it is really just a carrying case (imagine that, says that in the description, silly me). It works well for the purpose. It can be hard to open from the front, but if you reach your fingers into the openings and push from the under side of the door, it opens very easily. ... show more

My daughter loves this toy. The animals are super cute and the tree is fun to play with. The only complaint I have is that the paint details scratch off easily.

My son loves these animals! The case is cute for looks but it's too bulky for my personal preference & my son could care less about the case. The animal toys itself are wonderfully made and help my son practice his animals!! This would be a great gift for the holidays coming up!

This Little People set makes a nice gift! I especially like that it's also a carrying/storage case - anything to help corral toys is a big plus! The animals are cute -raccoon, fox, owl, fawn, bear, frog, rabbit, squirrel. How this opens is a royal pain. I don't think it will be long before something breaks as you have to use 2 hands to unlatch this. There are 2 latched areas, one on the top, which isn't too stiff, and one on the right side which I had to pry open with a tool. Of course, all of these toys might not be this stuff and ornery, but this one sure is. I bought this for an 18 month old and I can't see that she's going to be able to open this on her own. Eventually, I'll probably have to rig up a little Velcro strap for her as this latch as it is, just won't work for her. Or maybe file direct a little of the plastic so it slides in and out better than it does. The attached handle slides up and down about 1.25". Not sure what is gained by that aside from a bigger loop in the handle for ham-handed dads, I guess. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the lack of quality control or maybe bad design for opening it. 4 stars for cuteness. ... show more

I have always loved The Little People sets and after buying my baby granddaughter the farm set for Christmas, I was looking for some additional pieces to make (eventually) a little people “world!” This tree house set makes it fun to have a tree which kind of goes with a farm!
