I had spent literal YEARS taking PreserVision Areds 2, and have never had the benefit I've gotten from just under a month ago from these UpNourish Areds 2+ I have a vitreous detachment in my right eye that has been obscurring my vision for over a year now. I was told by my ophthalmalogist that it would require surgery to fix, but unless they're already doing surgery for something else with my eyes, it wouldn't really be worth it. After taking these since the October 4, I have noticed a significant improvement in the reduction of that annoying blur floating around in my right eye. My vision seems clearer, and I'm not using eye drops as often. What I like about these is the addition of Astaxanthin, which can improve tear film stability of the eyes, help repair the cornea, and improve the function of the oil glands in the eyelids, and can also help with eye strain. This isn't something found in the PreserVision Areds 2. Neither is saffron, which aids in slowing down the onset of macular degeneration, which, oh joy, runs in my family. UpNourish Areds 2+ also has Omega 3 fish oil, so be sure to watch this if you have fish allergies or need to stay away from blood thinners, which EPA and DHA are, but the doses in this are so small. While I do regularly take an Omega 3 supplement every other day, I really like that they added those in these supplements. I take these once daily, and will definitely be buying them again. The same day I took the supplements I felt a difference. My eyes had been hurting probably from dryness from working in front of the computer all day. I use glasses and was also having trouble with blurriness. It has never crossed my mind to take supplements to protect my vision health until I saw an infomercial selling a bottle of pills for $70. It led me to check in Amazon for all eye health supplements and came across this one. As soon as I received my order, I ate something and took two pills. That same evening my vision was less blurry and my eyes stopped hurting. So, I decided to hydrate by drinking more water. Next morning, my eyes felt moisturized, far from dry. More clarity, visually, without glasses. We all have different issues with our eyes and I don't know if it will work the same on everyone. One thing I do know, our eyes need supplements to give them nutrition we probably are not eating in our diet. Eye doctors are a multi billion dollar industry. I noticed when I started using this product within a week, my dry eyes stopped. When I skipped some days of using it, my dry eyes came back. This means I shouldn't have skipped some days until this product is able to correct the underlying problems for my dry eyes and other related eye issues.
