Had a 5ft vertical foundation crack I wanted to fill before the walls got spray foamed and this was really easy to do. Just need to be patient! Put down some cardboard, use one stick for A and the other for B then another for mixing together and do small amounts at a time because it cures fast. Do NOT mix the mixing sticks in the Part A and B. Once that part is done just set a timer for each port...use low pressure on the caulk gun and it takes a about 5-7 mins to start seeing eutherene come out of the next port. I did end up with twice the amount of expanding foam and about 1/2 the amount of epoxy i ended up needing. I bought some extra epoxy and thought I finished the job, maybe even over did but I had leakage or blow outs under a few of the injection ports. A few tips: wear rubber gloves and get a few extra pairs; i also needed a few plastic butter knives. The epoxy dries very fast. If I had to do it again, I'd start with a small amount and just do the bottoms of the ports for the 1st application. This way you'll get a feel of how much to mix at a time and it will also allow u to take a break and inspect that is good and covered. The bottoms were the trouble area for me. I was fortunate that the injection foam ran out with about 3 ports to go, as it ended up making it the rest of the way and even barely out of the top of the wall due to the expansion. So stop a few holes short. After I finished the injection I waited a few days to remove all the junk with a chisel, I was surprised how easy it was. I had a pretty big pool on the floor at the end, so make sure u have plastic taped down. I also ran tape along each side of the crack before applying the epoxy, thick duct tape. I think having a straight hard edge made removing it easier. Lastly I cleaned up all the leftover junk, retaped the sides and spray painted over the area. It hasn't leaked again yet and we've had some pretty heavy rain. Before the job I'd get about a half gallon after every rain. My walls are 8' and if I didn't have the blow outs, I think I could've easily filled a 12' crack. So basically get some good 2 part epoxy and 1 kit will be enough for 2 cracks; if you really do a good job coating the bottoms. ... show more

It doesn't quite fill all of a ten foot crack 1/8 inch wide. I ran out of urethane and had to use some great stuff for the last foot. But I'm pretty sure I sealed the area that was allowing water in. There is no guidance in the instructions as to what to do if the crack splits in multiple directions so I kind of winged it. Also I had a 2x4 fixed to the wall and the crack ran behind it so I couldn't epoxy behind it and it leaked urethane. I suggest making sure your wall is completely bare so you can epoxy the whole crack. I left the epoxy in place so if the wall moves, the epoxy will crack letting me know the wall moved. ... show more

there was not enough pieces in the kit to do a crack in a 8 foot wall. I had to improvise to finish the job. It slowed the leak down considerably

The description said it's good for 5 feet of crack. It should mention it's 5 feet of very small crack. My crack is only a little over 2 feet, but its width varies from 1/4 to 3/4 inch due to missing surface aggregate. In the end, the top 2 inch of crack wasn't filled with foam. Luckily, the top is tall enough above water intrusion so I don't need to seal it with foam. ... show more

Worked as advertised. Epoxy sets up very fast so don’t mix too much at a time. You need plenty of scrap cardboard and extra popsicle sticks. Be patient with the poly final step. Pumped in as a liquid then turns to foam. I would definitely buy again. Wear Gloves!!

I had hairline cracks in the basement walls which were letting in ground water with heavy rains. Followed the directions (FYI - the epoxy step can be a sticky and messy process) and so far so good after about three months which included more than one opportunity for leaks to happen. Satisfied.
