There are suction cups on the rear legs that have to be "stuck with a couple of drops of water" fairly frequently. Easy to assemble, the suction grippers in the back keep it from moving side to side. It feels a little unstable in the front until you apple a little weight on the handle. Not a big deal after you get used to it. This item worked well for me after hip surgery.

Purchased for an elderly relative. She has had it for a few weeks and at first she did not like it and reported that it was “wobbly”. She’s not wrong in that it has some wiggle. I'm am a certified medical assistant and bout this for my parents both 93 years old now. This is free standing, and hard fixed to the toilet. It works great. Even for I at 68 years old. And it isn't aluminum. It is high quality stainless steel.

So happy with the adjustable wide size and quality of this safety rail. The width of the safety rail is adjustable to make it extra wide and length of legs are adjustable as well. The suctions have a strong grip with the floor and the footings are rugged and durable. I honestly thought it wouldn’t be sturdy enough for my plus size relative but it was.
