The Sangohe Toilet Safety Rail is a god send. We installed this on great-grandad's washroom toilet. He is 95, and unable to get up, and down easily. Heck, I'm not near that old, and have my own problems. :*)~ So, these rails really are a huge relief. Grandad has been having trouble with the whole squat thing. And, he has been trying to use the door knob for stability. Good grief. That was an accident on the brink of doom. When I heard this, I immediately started looking for an aid to help him. We don't want any falls we can prevent, but it seemed inevitable. I'm glad to know it will not be in the toilet now. It isn't uncommon for elderly people to fall in the bath, and hit their head's on the toilet, or get stuck there. I can't imagine having to rely on aids all over the house. But, I want him to be well for as long as possible. I know it isn't easy. Additionally, this aid could be very useful for disabled youngsters that need extra help. This is why it is important. I once found a 20 - year old disabled gentleman in a large public bathroom. He was yelling for help, but no one would come to his aid. He had fallen in the stall between the wall, and the toilet, and was electric wheel chair dependent. I could only imagine how helpless, and embarrassed he felt. I helped him pull up his pants, and get back into his chair. It was heartbreaking. This safety rail would have helped provide him independence, which is the best gift we can give. I owe it to my great grand parents to provide for them in the best way possible. This product just lets them know that we care, love, and appreciate them. Note: The front bar is made for a specific toilet base. It did not fit perfectly on the front of the toilet. And, the stability cups did not sit on the back of the base, as intended. Never fear. To provide a totally secure, stable rail, we wrapped a secure strap several times around the base of the toilet, and the rail. Now, it's not going anywhere. We set the rails on the lowest setting, and Grandad was immediately able to get up, and down. And, I was relieved. I recommend this product highly! The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the extra reinforcement needed. It wasn't a big deal securing the rail, but it is made to accommodate one type of toilet. This toilet safety frame is perfect for my grandmother. It was so easy to assemble. No tools were needed to assemble it and it only took my teenage son 20 minutes to fully assemble it. It's a bit shakey but when you lock it into the toilet, that solves the problem. It doesn't fit every style of toilet very well l. Especially, normal size toilets but it will fit an Ada spec toilet just fine. The plungers at the bottom doesn't get suction to well to just any type of tile but with the help of the adjustable screws, the stability is there. The handles are adjustable and can be raised up or down which is perfect. She definitely appreciates this because it makes life so much easier for her. Overall, this is a great safety bar. I would highly recommend despite the minor issues because the pros outweigh the cons. It's great to have! ... show more

The side supports will not fit my toilet, A Kholer, I even went to a my Neiborhood recreational/sports store and purchase some material to make chinch straps. This made it a little more sable. If the side supports would tighten up on my toilet, I believe it would work and would keep it. I have tried other brands and by far this was the most robust built one. Just will not work for me. The toilet safety rails are extremely beneficial. I ordered the frame for when my elderly father comes to visit. They offer assistance since it's difficult for him to get up from a sitting position. He is on the smaller size, so I feel confident in the frames ability to assist. The seller mentions that the rail fits all standard toilets. While it works around our toilet, the side stability suctions are not fitting exactly as they should. The rail frame was relatively easy to assemble, however, there were a few pieces that didn't immediately fit. I needed to do some very slight sanding in at least two areas for the hardware to align smoothly. A couple of parts were labeled with a sticker, others were not. ... show more

The toilet support rails were easy to assemble and set up for my desired height to get up and down on the toilet. I was able to get them fastened so that I didn’t have to worry about wobble or instability. It can be easily removed when no longer needed.

This is easy to set up and is a helping hand for my elderly mother. I took off a star only because it does not fit tightly on the edges of her particular toilet. This toilet is the elongated kind and it is several decades old, so maybe it would be a better fit on a newer toilet.
