This is the only replacement that I could find. It is a true pain to work with. Every time I press the lever that seems to get stuck, it also makes the whole cartridge come off. One thing I loved about Dyson is how easy it was to use. Very disappointed.

They improved the red handle which broke on the original.

    • It's okay.
I have a v15 dyson. The canister is the right size, and fitment is good. When you use the release handle though, the whole canister comes off. Like the locking mechanism is not molded correctly. For the price, I expected better.

Dyson ,probably the greatest vacuum, but for the money they need to make the release buttons a little more stronger. the red clips to release the canister are junk. My red clip popped off and having a hard time fixing it.

When you go to clean it, it comes off the Dyson entirely. Should not do that!
